Awesome detail!
We got this for our grandson’s birthday who just turned eight years old. He absolutely loves it! Our daughter had put it on his birthday list because she knew he was ready to tackle a Lego project that size. It has so many interesting extras & he can learn more about ocean exploration when he plays with it & building it stretched his engineering skills. It was the most expensive & largest Lego set we’ve ever gotten for him but it was worth every penny in play & education value!

Great Lego Gift for a Seven Year Old
My grandson who turned 7 in April loved this Lego set. It was easy for him to follow the instructions totally by himself Each part was labeled well and in different bags so everything was clear and easy for him to do. We watched him put together the pieces easily but using the guide totally on his own. He worked for about two hours non-stop and then played with it making up stories. It was a great gift and worth the money spent on it!

GREAT SET!!!!
My 8yr old son loves legos & recently discovered a passion for ships. After looking at a few individual sets I settled on this all in one. Pricey, but once you factor in the multiple pieces you realize it's a great bargain. A large ship, small rescue boat, a submarine & small sunken pirate ship plus multiple accessories. A shark & sting ray.He woke up this morning and was so excited to see his newest lego addiction

It was expensive but my grandson loves it. He put it together himself
I think Legos are always a wonderful gift. I've raised my kids and now my grandchildren with lots of Lego blocks. It's great for their imagination. My 7 year old grandson put this ship together by himself.

9 year old grandson loved it!
This Lego set is good sized at almost 2 ft. long, but it kept my nine-year old grandson busy and focused for almost two days and that is a really good thing. He was able to follow the instructions almost entirely on his own and he seemed to enjoy the meticulous nature of assembling the vessel and all of its related parts, one "brick" at a time.

Perfect for an ocean obsessed kid
My son is obsessed with everything ship and ocean related. This set was perfect for him and took him about 2.5 to 3 hours to put together. It’s the first time he’s put together such a big Lego set. In true Lego fashion it is pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for with Legos. He loves to play with them after they’re together and they hold up great.
