Silicone Hot Handle Cover, Assist Pan Holder for Cast Iron Skillets and Traditional Pots - Black

These cannot stay on the pan or they get way too hot, even on a low stovetop setting. They can't go in the oven. While they do give me more mobility moving the pan than pot holders, constantly putting them on and off is a pain. They did fit my cast iron well, and they clean fairly easily. They just don't help the way I hoped.

I would give it a 4.5 if I could, but combined with the assist handle, it really works well! The handle, by itself, feels a bit large for picking up or moving my 12" skillet. I'm glad for the assist handle. Not everyone who sells you a skillet handle will also sell a assist handle with it. A worthwhile buy!

So very disappointing, they both fall off and could prove to be dangerous.They twist around and end up falling off.Totally worthless, do not purchase if you want for a Lodge 12 inch cast iron skillet.

I bought this because I've bought similar ones before at a brick and mortar store. I like the colors at the store (neon green. And electric blue). Product the same just black. So it blends with the cast iron pans instead of popping.I bought this mostly for the short pot ends. We have a gas stove in the camper and it beats up the short handle on one side. The longer handle end is fine to hold onto but it makes life a million times less complicated to just use the silicone handle ends.

I have an older american made pan and the silicon is way too large. I can still use it but wish it were not so big, worried it could slip off.

Liked the protection to your hands from very hot cast iron skillets. Like that it has the 2 parts. Pot holders often are not adequate to protect your hands especially when removing it from the oven.Draw back need to measure your handle to be sure you have correct size and even then is slightly loose. I purchased the brand name for that brand cast iron skillet

The longer handle one works pretty good. If you're working at higher heat, you're still going to need a pot holder. The wider one for the other handle doesn't stay on at all, so I just use it if I need to lift the pan to dump or something.Nice to have, thought not as useful as I'd thought since I still have to use a pot holder all the time.

I initially thought that this was direct from Lodge. Looking at the low price, I should have known better.The singular issue is that neither the handle cover or assist cover fit well. Both were extremely loose. Both slip off with ease. The handle cover spins around, not a snug fit at all like the Lodge brand that I have.I bought this set for my mother; I will be purchasing a genuine Lodge handle to replace this poor replica.
