Great product that after they were washed they fluffed up a bunch. They are very pretty, I like the dark color so that stains do not show as much! Very interesting packaging that confused me until the first washing and drying. The vacuum packed package is thin and stiff. When first opened the towels are very thin, but when washed and dried end up with fluffy absorbent towels. I saw some negative reviews about the towels being thin, and I would have written those reviews if I had not yet washed and dried these towels. I wonder whether the reviewers were discussing the towels when they are first unpackaged and before a wash and dry? The towels now in my drawer are absorbent and soft and just the size I like for drying anything that I hand wash. Also, the size and absorbency are just what is needed to dry the water that pools in the recesses in the tops of mugs and glasses that air dry after going through the dishwasher. Delighted with this product.

Review Update: I am updating a previously incorrect review. I acted too quickly and unfairly. After washing, the towels fluffed up considerably. They're dense, good quality towels. Rather odd shape -- narrow and long -- but they're absorbent and and more than adequate for the job.Earlier Review: These towels arrived promptly. Shrink wrapped so that it wasn't readily evident that they are not much thicker than tissue paper. I thought that vacuum-pack aspect was the reason that the package was so thin. To my dismay, the cloths didn't expand after opening that vacuum seal. Nor did they improve after unfolding and shaking out the fabric. They genuinely see-through.I didn't feel like I could return them after opening the package -- but I should have. They are honestly almost as thin as tissue paper. The "terry cloth" is sparse. I am surprised that others have given a good review for this product. Perhaps the quality has changed since those reviews were posted.

First off they are purple and very pretty!!! They’re soft, a good size, not expensive and I highly recommend them. Loved them so much I’m going to order more.Wish they had matching hand towels.

I really like these kitchen dish towels because they absorb the water well from my dishes and are also soft for hand drying. I removed one star because one of the towels started to fray before first use. The other towels are well made and absorb well. I’ve washed them a few times already and they hold up well thus far. I plan to order these again.

I wasn't sure at first, but after a quick wash and dry, they came out really soft. They're perfect for kitchen dish drying, wipe-ups, or hand drying. I even ordered a second set!

I love these dish towels. They are absorbent, look very nice, and are the perfect size for my needs. I replaced my bar towels that were getting a bit old. Very happy with this purchase.

Great price. They look nice. 100% cotton. But they don’t absorb very well, and they shed black fuzz, even after a machine wash & dry. I bought them for the Airbnb I’m renting, and I’ll leave them behind. They are terry cloth, but not a plush terry, so the absorbency is limited. They just don’t dry well at all. And the black lint is really apparent on my glassware and white ceramic dishes. Grrr.

I was pleasantly surprised in these towels. Nicely made, absorbent, and soft.I will definitely buy these again!

The towels are ok quality but the width of the towel itself is small. Towel is long but not wide, almost could Sew 2 together to get a decent size towel
