It's a screw, BUT I did not have to special order one half an inch shorter at the local box store (settle for less same price) plus drive 22 miles and back whenever it showed up. Came a day faster then expected, exactly what I needed for a metal siding patch job, length I WANTED and instantly at the door (not time lost at a service desk finding it some back room). Mileage saved made it technically free? Can't beat planning if sellers are legit (5 star there too biz card to follow up, great customer care...that I won't even need)
