Worked great for normal vehicles. But mine, if your vehicles are over a 7-10yrs, the glue adhesive dries insanely hard and brittle. I had to break the emblems off in pieces. For the emblems that were are sun dried to rock levels, it worked fine

I ordered this to remove the fender emblems from my truck. I was a little worried with several reviews mentioning string breakage but I had zero issues. Gentle pressure and a slow sawing motion and it cut through the tape perfectly with no paint damage.

Did an awesome job removing emblems from the front and back of my car. You could make this with two pipes and fishing line, but if you don’t have the time and just want a quick solution, this is for you.

I love the “handles”, as it provides a great alternative to other methods. However, the string provided broke upon first use. I used it on a Silverado tailgate, which worked great for the “Silverado” and “LTZ” lettering - which I assumed it would. But once I tried it on the thick Chevy bow tie, it instantly broke. So obviously you need to understand the limits of it. I changed it to a thicker string/rope, and I feel it improved it greatly.I would also recommend you redo the knots that are already tied onto the handles, as they are not secured as well as they should be.

This looks like a great tool but in reality it is cheap junk. The line is weak and the whole thing broke on the second emblem removed. You are better off with real fishing line, a pair of gloves and twisting it around your fingers like dental floss than wasting money on this. I probably should have known better since I've been doing detailing and vinyl wrapping for 25 years lol.

I liked that there are additional grooves in the handles so you can wrap the wire to make it shorterI debadged a BMW with it and after 2 minutes with a hair dryer to warm the material it went through super smoothIt's hardness is also very low so it's not going to scratch anythingDon't be a gorilla and try to force anything and it'll work great for you

I gave it 3 stars because it eventually got the decal off but I went through 3 of the 4 strings to get it off. It kept snapping, I reused the same string until it wasn’t long enough to tie.

Not strong at all. The wire rips quick also scratches the paint on whatever surface you are using it on.
