Simple and bright
These look amazing in my crawl space. No more crawling with a flashlight in your teeth. Flip a switch and the whole underneath the house lights up. Very durable and work better than I imagined. Being waterproof is a plus even though there shouldn’t be any water. Comes with everything you need to attach and connector to add more if needed. Great value for what I paid.

Above Expectations
Quality is there. Above my expectations, I have spent more on different light strands trying to save money, bite the bullet and try these. They are more bright than expected. They illuminate my back yard. Very happy with them.

Excellent brightness and quality.
I replaced my older failed rope lights on my decking with a one piece rope instead of segments. UV destroyed my previous lights so I’m curious to see how this one holds up. So far they are working well and no issues.

very good rope lights, I was pleased
Placed on the backyard patio all around the perimeter. At night its beautiful and perfectly lite up for entertaining or eating outside. I used the clear 4' mounting tracks and it made the job looks so nice and straight and professional.

Lights Up Any Yard
Rope lights are easy to install and sturdy. The length covers plenty of area and light up the patio nicely. No need to install security light when you have these!

Up to you, but I’m done with this product. Too much risk of fire.
The media could not be loaded. According to the product description, you can join up to three of these 150’ strands together to make one continuous run. Ultimately we used ~350’ of length in our installation which we’ve had installed now for about 7 months. In that time, the run has developed dangerous short circuits on three different occasions, each of which could have possibly caused a fire. The first two times the short happened right near the connection between the 120 outlet and the first strand in the run. While there is a non watertight connection near here, this connection was always stored in a dry lock box and never had issues. Instead, the shirt happened in the rope itself in an area that is supposed to be waterproof. Both of these times, I chalked it up to bad luck and the company provided a replacement strand for the one which developed a short. After the second time, I placed additional waterproofing barrier over the supposedly water tight connector that failed twice. Now today I noticed the lights were again dim and only a small portion of the run was illuminating. In investigating the issue, I found the connection between the second and the small run of lights from a third strand fully melted and charred. This connection is supposed to be waterproof as well, but it clearly appears that cannot be trusted and I no longer feel safe having these lights on my property. If you do trust these lights, or have high faith in your home insurance, I would suggest at a minimum enclosing any connection in a secondary waterproofing container. Do not rely on the instructions from Surnie about any portion of the run being waterproof.

Beautiful lights! Great for night-time entertaining!
My wife loves the lights that we installed along the fence on the north side of our property. We purchased three sets of 150-foot rope lights and It was really easy to connect the 3 strings of light. The fact that the rope can be cut allows us to light up exactly the length we need (about 400 feet), without an extra 50 feet of light. The rope is conveniently marked with "cut lines" where you can make a cut. The attached photo was taken at night, but you can see how bright the driveway is when the lights are on. (I only installed these lights a week ago, so I can't comment on durability --- but so far, so good!)

Decent replacement for old Incandescent style rope lights.
I restored/repainted my large patio cover that's attached to the back of my house. Part of that work was replacing the old incandescent bulb type rope lights that I had installed 20+ years ago. The lights still worked, but had started to yellow and looked old. I replaced them with the Surnie LED lights that use only 10% of the power as the old lights. I liked the original incandescent bulbs color and illumination, so I chose the 3000k warm white version, which I find much more pleasing to the eye instead of the harsh bluish-white of standard LED's. After I installed them and turned them on, they were of a warm white shade, but they were much brighter than the old incandescents were. I plan on installing a dimmer in the near future. Notes: 1) I would recommend buying plastic rope light track, it comes in 4' lengths and the Surnie lights fit well in to these. This is a MUCH better/cleaner install than the 100 included plastic clips and screws, I just threw them away. 2) As usual, the instructions are terrible Chinglish with poor diagrams. When they say you can cut them, you can, BUT ONLY along the marked areas on the rope light which are spread about every 2 feet or so, not exactly where you want to cut it. 3) The rope comes with female ends on each side and two plugs to attach to the rope. While you can cut anywhere* (see note 2) along the rope, you can ONLY cut it once to create 2 pieces. Once cut, you must glue and cap the end (included) leaving you with 2 strands of whatever length you like. If you want 3 or more lengths and are good with your hands, you could probably expose the the two wires that carry the power and solder them to another pig tail, but non mechanical types won't be able to.

Great lights
I bought these to run along my driveway to see better wile backing up at night. They are super bright and have been on every night for 4 hours about 6 months now.The only down side is that the plug is not water proof.

Bonita pero frágil - Pretty but fragile (translated from English to Spanish)
This item looked great when I stretched it out to start attaching it to the rafters on my patio. However, after hanging it over the rafters for a while, the last segment went out. That was good because I had more than I needed. As he continued to place it on the beams, more segments came out until it finally failed at about 88 feet.My 150 foot string of lights now had only 88 feet of illuminated segments.Very pretty but fragile.Be careful if you have to bend it in any way as it will fail.
