Exactly what I was looking for. I needed a plug in light with a switch on the cord for my kitchen. It was a little confusing at first. I plugged it in and it wasn't turning on. I thought maybe it was a bad bulb. I ended up watching a You tube video. On the base of the lamp is a knob. You can turn the unit off with the knob and adjust the dimming. Once I figured that out worked like a charm. They even provided a white cotton glove so you didn't get finger prints on the globe. Price was great too. Very happy.

We really like the style and the dimmer capability. We bought (2) two packs and had all 4 lights installed by a certified electrician in early July. We have been using all without issue until this evening when one will not work. Tried switching a bulb from one of the other lights, still no luck. Apparently no returns after 30 days so we are disappointed!

Very happy with this purchase

We bought these while our new home was under construction and had the electrician hardwire them with switches on either side of our bed. So nice to roll over and hit a handy switch and not have to fumble, searching for the knob from a regular bedside lamp.Only issue is that, no matter how tight you get the nut on back, the lights still want to rotate. Putting Loc-Tite might help, but I haven't gotten that motivated yet.

These are wonderful. They were easy to install. I used them as lights on my headboard. The plugs work well and the flip switch on the cord worked well too. Each light has a knob you turn to dim the lights. They can get pretty bright. The amber globe does dim it somewhat. These feel really well made and would be easy to take off and reinstall if needed. Really nice that you can choose to hardwire or not.

We have used these lights for several months without any problems or issues. I raised my review score from 3 to 4 stars. Issues caused by the limitations of the electrical cord switch location. Most likely nothing to do with the product but our particular needs. We do recommend these lights.
