Great Seat - Cuation Buying as Warehouse Deal
I've put over 30 hours on the first Volt I purchased about six weeks ago. Rides from soft sand slogging to relentless rock gardens - when I finish a ride, it often strikes me that the saddle never entered my conscious mind during the entire ride - contrary to my previous saddle, which was always a background annoyance. Unlike most manufacturers, WTB has detailed documentation and comparison of each of its saddles on its website - the volt is a terrific compromise between cushioning, support and long distance comfort. That said, I purchased a second Volt for my fat bike via an Amazon Warehouse Deal. The seller rated it as very good. A casual examination of the two attached photos reveals that this is a used seat with months of hard use, including a ripped corner, grimy bottom, and scratched rails. Obviously, the previous buyer purchased a new Volt and then returned their beat up original volt in its place. The original buyer should be jailed for exploiting Amazon lenient return policy, and the seller should be ashamed for rating it as used, very good. The bottom line is that the Volt is a great seat at a terrific price! I returned the Warehouse Deal and coughed up another $10 to purchase a new one.

Great saddle. Amazon is selling the older version.
Volt is one of the most popular saddles on the market for a reason. If it fits your anatomy, it will be comfortable for long periods. I regularly ride 3-4 hours on this saddle with no issues.Note: As of this review in October 2024, Amazon is fulfilling orders with the pre-late 2023 refresh model. If you care about the Fusion Form frame with tool mount, you’ll probably not get that version from here just yet.

Comfortable for long rides
I would not describe this as "comfortable" in the sense of a soft, squishy chair. The Volt is very thin, firm, and dense. However, I would say it is very comfortable in the sense that it supports you properly and allows you to ride uninhibited. If you're looking for something soft and squishy, you should not be looking at any WTB products. Now with that out of the way, here's why I'm loving this saddle:For reference, I'm coming from a Marin Fairfax with the stock saddle. This Volt saddle is actually slightly firmer than the stock Marin saddle. But it feels completely different. I would say the Volt probably has about 1 inch of very firm padding. However, it is extremely effective. The shape is really what makes it work. Slight curvature which is very noticeable while sitting. This gives you a few different positions. Slide back on the saddle and hunch down, and you are sitting on the "whale tail", the up-curved back. This feels good, and gives you a little extra leg power. Slide forward and sit up, and your sit-bones are cradled near the center edges, which actually relieves a ton of pressure, as you're able to be supported partially by the sit-bones and partially by the fatty part of your butt up against the tail of the saddle. Switching between these positions during your ride helps give your sit-bones a little rest. That was something I couldn't do with my stock saddle.Normally I enjoy long rides of 20+ miles (2+ hours) on roads/pavement. Recently I did a 70 mile ride. Generally on my old saddle after 20 miles I would start to get sore, mainly from lack of different sitting positions or from chafing. I also tried a gel pad/cover for added squish. It felt softer, but didn't help with long distance. According to WTB, less padding will be more comfortable for longer rides. Enter the Volt. It supports your body and reduces pressure points. The best thing about this saddle is that you'll literally forget it's there - after completing a long ride I realized that during the ride I hadn't had to stand up once! I used to stand up constantly on the old saddle to get a quick break from the pressure and chafing. The outer material is fantastic. It's not sticky or plasticy feeling like most other saddles. It feels like a premium leather-like material that has the perfect amount of grip but is still easy to slide around on.So my final verdict is: After fine-tuning the position and tilt of this saddle, it is really comfortable and eliminates almost all pressure. Once you adjust to how it feels you'll forget it's there. I would NOT recommend it for the average person who is looking for a comfy chair; but it is a great option for enthusiasts who ride a lot.I was debating between the WTB Pure, Speed, and Volt. I did end up getting the Pure as well, but have to say that the Volt is superior to the Pure for endurance. The Pure is just a tiny bit longer and wider, and has probably 1/4 inch more padding. But the extra comfort of the Pure means it starts to wear on you after a couple hours. The volt being so small and thin is actually what makes it more comfortable for the long-haul.

Changing out all my saddles to this one
Changing out all my saddles to this one-it fits right, is durable and comfortable (for medium rides). Can't complain about the weight either.

Comfy seat!
Great seat purchase! Comfy for what a bike seat can be without being bulky. Super sleek and lightweight! Easy to install on my mountain bike, and shape is perfect.

More comfortable than it looks
I replaced a very old LaserV that was wider and had a lot more padding and comparing the two the Volt looked like it would be painful to mountain bike in. It wasn’t and had no discomfort whatsoever. Very happy with it so far. Not sure if the titanium is worth the extra money but it is a fair price for ti rails and who doesn’t like a little extra bling on their bike.

Excelente
Yo mido 180mts y peso 78Kg y me quedo perfecto. Los materiales se sienten de calidad y resistentes. Lo recomiendo.

Very comfortable on my hard tail ,great on long rides !
Go to the website and figure out your size on the measurement chart , it’s pretty scientific. Then order from Amazon . It arrived quickly and of course like any seat finicky to install, well worth it . Great saddle . I recommend for sure .

Great saddle!
Bought this after finding it really well reviewed. Have not been disappointed. Well made and fully comfy. Not issues doing 50km off-road rides or a day at the bike park.

Sehr guter MTB Sattel
Ich bin den Sattel jetzt ca 500km gefahren und bin sehr zufrieden. Am Anfang ist er etwas hart...braucht ca. 30-40km zum Einfahren, danach passt er mir super und ist fest und griffig. Guter Preis auch.

Quality comfortable saddle
I tried an older version of this volt saddle on a bike I hired from Alpkit. I loved it so much I had to get one. I have just completed the Kernow Way with this saddle on a hardtail and it was comfortable at the right width for me. I could still slip off the back of the saddle without issue. Its now my go to saddle.
