Nice, sturdy hand rail
We needed just a 4' section for our indoor stairs. This was perfect since the brackets were separate and could be aligned with the wall studs, and then the rail attached, vs the one pc construction. It was installed easily and is very sturdy and comfortable to use going up or down. The ends go around and meet the wall, so easy "hook" to grab on to. The flat black rail is a nice classic look.

Perfect Solution!
These handrails are excellent. I ordered three different sizes for my internal staircase. The products came very well packed in heavy, hard tubes, so no damage is likely unless the tubes get crushed. Installation went well, but it does require 2 people, especially for the longer runs. One I ordered too small, so I sent it back and ordered a longer one. The return was easy and free. It looks great! No issues with the join in the long one as others have stated. I do recommend pre-drilling the holes for the underside of the railing because it's just too difficult to screw in the self-tapping screws from underneath.

Sleek and sturdy modern railings
Ignore the fact that things are still unfinished in my home. I had to stop and take the time to write this review about my hand rails.I ordered two of these (one for upstairs and one for downstairs) and both of my parents keep commenting how sturdy these railings feel. They are made of some kind of metal and are smooth and cool to the touch. They are easy to hold (even with someone who has small hands like me) and easy to wipe down as all the dust is quick to come off with the wipe of a hand or a towel. These two railings took maybe 20 minutes to get in place. Most of the time was spent by me choosing the correct height for the railing to sit at but installation was simple. The railing would definitely be able to support anyone who was unstable while using the stairs and could put significant weight onto the railing for support.

Durable product, easy to install, and looks very clean/modern
We purchased these handrails (4 various sizes) well over a year ago and they are holding up very well. The paint on the handrails are durable and holding up well with regular use. The install was extremely easy and took just a matter of finding the correct slope and height position, marking the studs, drilling fastening the brackets to the railing, and then securing to the studs.A really great value for the product you’re receiving.Love how clean and modern it looks, yet doesn’t take away from our colonial/transitional interior.ALSO, their customer service has been great to deal with when I needed some extra parts for a very long handrail.

Nice rail
I had to install a 14 foot hand rail on a stairway and this one went well with the house. It is sleek and modern looking. Instructions are easy to follow and it went up easy. I read some other reviews that had issues with the screws for both the rail and the brackets that anchor into the wall. I didn't have problem. The self tap screws for the rail worked fine and the screws for the anchor bracket to the wall worked well also. It is very sturdy. In all it took about 1.5 to install. The only negative I have is where the pieces join together. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Because it was 14 feet I had 3 pieces that had to be joined. The area where they join together are butted up against each other and in my opinion do not leave a nice finish. I think it would have been better if they the joint was made so they pushed into each end a little and rounded the exposed part so nit to have a rough edge.I arrived in 2 separate tubes, packaged and protected well, and was delivered 5 days before the expected date.Overall, I'm happy with the look and the sturdiness.

Absolutely worth the money
We moved into our current home and the railings left something to be desired... Primarily, they desired screws, anchors, stability, and less of a lawsuit waiting to happen. Following removal and scrapping of those messes, we were not really sure what to re-install, but I wanted something that would anchor to more than drywall (because, you know, stability...). I found these and my wife approved (bonus points). We liked the modern design, the turned-in ins (because, you know, code nowadays), and the sleek appearance. So we bought 1, and I installed it, and we immediately bought 5 more (3 foot and 4 foot spans). We love them, and so do the walls.Unlike the prior ones, these are mounted into the studs of the wall (so, you know, stability). This did prove a bit of a challenge as I believe the builder of our house was high when he/she designed the walls. But nonetheless I was able to get it done. The instructions help, and coming with all the parts plus drill bit really helps.I would suggest, personally, that you pre-drill the holes in the bottom of the rail that mount the rail to the wall anchors (see the close-up picture). Although the screws provided are self-tapping, I found it difficult to apply enough pressure, at the right angle, upside down, without the rail slipping (but that could be just me). So a little pilot hole made the job 10x easier. Similarly, a piece of painter's tape on the bottom of the rail helped keep it from sliding around when I was centering it on the wall and marking for those pilot holes.Bonus points for made in the USA - nothing broke during installation!

A huge value and cost efficient solution for the DIYer
We're remodeling our home and needed a 14' railing (with a "return" to the wall at each end) in order to meet building code. We ordered this railing and it showed up on our doorstep a couple days later. It came in 3 different sections with all the parts necessary to install. The instructions were easy to understand, and the vendor answered a question we had same day. We used blue tape to make markings on the walls, and a stud finder to find the studs. We hit studs with every single screw, making this railing incredibly sturdy and fixed to the wall. There is little to no flex, and we're very impressed with the quality. We can barely feel the joints where the sections are joined, but gotten used to the feel after using it for about 2 weeks. We are happy with the results, and even happier with the money we saved on this part of our remodeling project.
