Solid mount. Came with 4 magnetic plates with adhesive stickers attached. I popped on behind my phone cover and it is solid. Remains to be seen if that interferes with my nfc payments (samsung s23 ultra).

The magnet is very strong, so strong I thought it would out perform the adhesive on the metal pieces. So far that has not happened and this is working great. After having one for a month I purchased another.

I’ve been using it for my ride share signs it holds up really good. I would recommend.

The magnetic surface is smaller than a Standard Magsafe ring. I assumed it was that size, but was wrong. Additionally, my ball mount and arm system is for the larger 1" B sized balls. I will be returning this and ensuring the replacement is properly sized.

I was concerned when looking for a new mount because I wasn't sure if the magnet would be strong enough. I have a rubber case, and I put the little adhesive metal sheets on the inside of the case. My last mount held well enough, even through the case, but not great.. This one holds great, no problem with the rubber case. It also came with 4x of the metal sheets, two square and two round. So I'm good to go when I swap out my phone later..

The hold is slightly ok with a phone case. Even better with the provided metal plate. However, once you stick that metal plate to your phone case you can say goodbye to wireless charging. I really enjoy wireless charging and I was really quite disappointed once I realized that I would need to buy a new phone case. If you don’t utilize wireless charging, this could be a pretty good product for you. It works really well with the metal plate. Looks good, too. Unfortunately (as for myself) I will be on the hunt for something that doesn’t require metal adhesives.
