When our little guy turned 3, he started showing an interest in baseball. My husband and I are both big baseball fans, and his older sister already has a glove, a bat and a tee. We were excited when he wanted to join in the family fun! However, because he's 3, I wasn't quite ready to shell out any serious money on supplies. Not only would he outgrow things quickly, but his interests change quite frequently. Because of this, we decided to go with this inexpensive Franklin glove. It ended up being such a great deal and such a great purchase!This set comes with a glove and a soft baseball sized ball. It's a little softer than a standard tee ball ball. It's great for a kiddo who's just learning to throw and play catch. Even if they did get a little bonk, the softness makes it much more tolerable than a normal baseball.Another selling point for us personally was the red, white and blue. Those happen to be my son's 3 fav colors (so patriotic!). The colors are true to the picture. And as a bonus, it was super easy to find his glove in a pile of gloves at tee ball practice!!I'd highly recommend this glove for a beginning ball player. It's a perfect size for his 3 year old body, and I think he'll get a couple of years of use out of it. It's already soft and 'broken in'. The ball is a complete bonus. If you're considering this, I recommend the purchase!

This glove fits like a real leather glove but is soft enough that my 3 year old can 'squeeze' to catch and field. Where was this when I was a kid? For the price, heck, for twice the price this is a great item. It's well made in a comfortable feeling material and looks and works like a big league glove. I got it for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, but my almost 5 y.o. granddaughter is having a ball with it... no pun intended.I highly recommend this for a first time glove, for the child just learning the art of playing catch. It's well worth the money!!!!!!Delevery was fast too!

I was a little worried this would have been cheap and plastic, but turns out it is pretty good. Bought this for my 4yr old and fist great. The ball included is also great seeing it doesnt hurt like a real BB when he mises the catch. Overall not bad at all for the money, and not cheap quality like I expected.

Bought one of these for my Minnesota Grandchildren. They enjoyed the fit on their small hands, and the mitt is made of a surprisingly better quality sponge/foam that makes it more flexible than any other I've experienced - when my own kids were little I.I was so pleased, that I bought another one for my Grandsons in Hawaii. I know they are going to kenjoy it too, and only wish I could be there to watch them play T-ball and catchNo problem recommending this mitt. The kids are ages 2 - 6 years old.

Bought for a great grandson in an effort for him to enjoy outside sports. He was excited, for about 5 minutes then wanted to go inside with air conditioning and an iPad. No criticism of the ball and glove, they are perfect for ages 5-6.

Trying to teach my child to catch with this ball isn't going to happen. We'll sub something softer as this one is almost as hard as a softball.

The quality of this well made glove and ball are very impressively. The size is perfect for my son's 2 year old hands (also work great for my 4 year old )The glove is soft and very flexible so no need to worry about breaking it in. They've been p,aging with it for two years and its still here with no problems - worthwhile buy!

My son loves his ball and mitt. He loves throwing it and trying to catch it. He's only 20 months old so it was hard to find one that would fit his little hand. He was obsessed with an older child's at daycare so I wanted to get him one of his own and is working out great. Fun colours, good sizing, soft ball.
