Should be fine, the stand comes with several rubber inserts for different Mac that you can swap out. I have the 2021 pro and fits great

Yes the ARC has inserts for MacBook air , 13ins MacBook pro and 16ins MacBook that allow the laptop to stand on edge as per pictures
