I’m so happy I took a chance on this rug!! There were a few mixed reviews but I loved the color and design of the rug, as well as the price point so I decided to go for it. The rug is great quality and definitely added the pop of color I was looking for in this room (my old rug was black and too small for the space).It came rolled very tightly, so it was a bit creased at first and didn’t lay flat. But after rolling it the opposite direction for a bit then laying it out with some heavy furniture on the corners, it flattened up real nicely. It is probably the best home improvement purchase I’ve made so far this year!! ^_^

I had been looking for a replacement for my woven jute rug but nothing was speaking to me. I loved the way the jute looked and felt but the shedding was ridiculous! I was sweeping dark hardwood floors 5 to 6 times a week to keep the fibers up. Forget laying or sitting on that thing, you'd be covered. I kept coming back to this rug but was unsure, I needed a 9x12 and I couldn't decide if this would give what I was looking for. I was super wrong. I got so fed up with my other rug that I ordered this one without another thought. Everything else I looked at was too vintage, too contemporary. I find I can change my "theme" out with this rug. Modern farmhouse, glam, rustic chic, etc. It fits with a lot of different styles. Every time someone comes over I get compliments on this rug. I used a rug pad I also purchased for $75 off Amazon and it does its job. Rug doesn't move on hardwoods and it's the perfect amount of padding. I would recommend spending the money to get a rug pad, it makes a big difference, especially on hardwoods. My puppy tracks mud and dirt on it a few days a week but stains come right out. No fibers are left on you and it's soft. You can't go wrong! Note that it is more white than a real ivory, my couch is "vanilla" and you can see the difference but it gives great contrast and doesn't stain so no complaints here.

Value for money is amazing. The rug is beautiful and although it did take some time it finally did lay flat! My only issue is the pictures made it look more grey and I KNOW I read ‘slate’ and honestly I just thought it would be more grey than blue. This rug, I’d definitely say it was blue. Not slate and not grey looking as the image shows. 100% its blue. Was VERY annoyed at first because I had to change my decor so it wouldn't look out of place but I was never going to pay or lose money to ship it back or even roll it up for that matter so I made it work.UPDATE June 2021: I purchased a different rug and returned it after two weeks of it not laying flat. Ordered this same rug in the 6x9 in grey ivory for my dining room. Within two days its 98% flat. I love it and am super happy with this purchase. 100% recommend it. No smell, no residue, it was so hot the day of delivery so the rug was very warm, felt like it came out the dryer and there were soooo many creases but two days with some throw pillows laid on top and its almost completely flat.

I own at least 1/2 a dozen large oriental antique Persian wool rugs and they are all over my home. They are all in muted colors and distressed. We bought a new home with a very, very long hallway. I have been looking for a authentic hand knotted wool rug over 20 feet in length- extremely near impossible to find! I bought this then regretted it afterwards, thinking I would return it without opening because it would look very carpet like and cheap. Well it came, and I decided to at least look it. I was pleasantly surprised!!!! It filled my hallway beautifully and pulled all the light colors throughout my home in this hallway. This hallway is very dark and it looks perfect! Was so cheap and filled this space wonderfully! I love the distressed look. Very practical, as if it lasts 5 years it still was money well spent given what I paid. Professional carpet cleaning would cost more than the $120! In the meantime I can use it until I find what I'm looking for, but if I don't- I'm still very pleased having this!

I will definitely be getting a pad because like the other reviews say, it is pretty thin and I can see what they mean by oily texture, but it must be what they treat the rug with because it didn't transfer any residue to my socks when I walked on it. The worst thing was that it was rolled without any type of cardboard in the center so it was completely flattened when it arrived; so I rolled it the opposite direction and let it sit that way for an hour, and it seems to be lying a little bit flatter. The color actually looks a bit brighter in the picture than it does in real life, but it’s a good cheap basic rug.

Looks beautiful, perfect size for small area. Vacuums easily. Came rolled, took a couple of weeks to completely flatten out but Iused carpet grippers to keep it in place. I'm glad we were patient with that part because it really is a beautiful rug!

I was so on the fence about buying this rug. I looked for weeks for a new area rug for my living room. I have a rustic/farmhouse decor theme and my old rug just wasn't doing it for me I wanted something that would help accentuate my decor but also help the room feel light since my other rug was all dark colors. This rug is beautiful. It has a distressed pattern which I love and is a very light grey color with grey design on top. I definitely wouldn't say this is white but I was pleased because let's face it who wants to try to keep a white rug white! It is a little thin as people were complaining about but it's nothing a rug pad wouldn't fix if you needed it. Plus it is still super soft. I personally don't like thick rugs but to each his own. This rug is definitely worth it especially for the low price. Don't hesitate to buy

I shopped many stores in-person and could not find the colour, style or price I was looking for (and I was willing to spend far more than I paid here on Amazon)... saw this lovely Safavieh rug on Amazon and decided to give it a try. WOW! Incredible area rug of excellent quailty. Bargain basement price. True to description, colours are lovely and neutral - it’s a true warm ivory and silver-grey; no undertones of blue or anything else as another reviewer mentioned. Fits my decor perfectly and feels amazing underfoot. I laid a non-slip pad underneath, carpet is soft and appears that it will ensure a good amount of abuse. No loose fibres or unbound ends are evident. Highly recommend!

Great little area rug. Really priced well, checked many other site's and some of them were asking $75 plus! Looks very similar to picture. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.
