I bought the IR thermometer to use with a pizza oven. This has been a critically important accessory, since there is no other accurate way to determine how hot the pizza oven has gotten. I use the thermometer to gauge the temperature of the stone at the bottom of the oven. This is much better than a free standing thermometer since the air can be much hotter than the stone.The thermometer is very easy to use. I hold the trigger down and run the laser light over the pizza stone. This gives me the average temperature of the stone.I can't imagine cooking pizza without this thermometer.

First it is much slower in either mode and is not one bit more accurate than the 12$ orange one I got years ago. This has some gimmicky attachments, but its supposed to be dual beam and more accurate, and the percision is not any more either, so BOOOOO for $45. This is a horrible value of taking a $2 to make product that is upsold for 12-15$ and then giving it more output readings with little to no value and slapping it with a $45 price.

Super easy to use. Just aim and pull the trigger!I use this to monitor the temperatures in my offset bbq pit. I like the wide temperature range. I also like how it automatically displays the average temperature, updated every second, until you release the trigger. Very helpful for getting a a good idea of the average temp in my firebox.

while did not have another meter to independently confirm the temperature readings. The results were very consistent with readings into certain spots inside refrigerator, a/c air vents and air returns. Happy with the purchase.

I use this on my smokers to pinpoint cold spots and fix smoking issues. I also use it to temp my warmers and crocks for safe food temps.

Works great and from what I can tell is pretty accurate.

Tested using good thermometers .. I like it .. :-)

Color, runs on 2 aaa batteries. Haven’t found anything I dislike. I use it for Checking temp on making plastic fishing baits
