I was reluctant to buy this clock because of the "mixed" reviews. I wanted a clock that is as close to silent as it can be. I also obviously expect it to keep good time and work well for a long time. Those three expectations got very mixed reviews for this clock. Well, I took a chance and ordered this clock and so far, I am very pleased. I have now had this clock for about three months. Despite other reviews, the clock I received is perfectly silent and for the three months I have been running it, it has kept perfect time. Now obviously, three months is not a "long time" but I am keeping my fingers crossed. If this clock continues to work as it has been for me, I would recommend it. It seems by all the reviews I read that some of these clocks may not work as well as others. If that is indeed true, then so far, I am one of the lucky ones. The clock I received is perfectly silent and has been keeping perfect time for three months so far.

Cheap clock but gets the job done. I needed inexpensive clocks for my children's rooms. The clock is light and hangs easily. The plastic feels matte(if that makes sense) and doesn't feel too cheap. The clock just looks cheap and feels cheap mostly because of how light it is. The numbers are easy to read from far away and the ticking noise isn't too loud. The background also looks like it was cheaply printed or applied. But for an inexpensive clock for functional use, it is a great product.

Indeed it does not tick. Quiet as a mouse. A little difficult getting the battery installed. Apparenly you need to stuff the + end in first. Very simple clock and I should be able to easily see it from across the room. No complaints and the price was right.

I ordered 3 of these clocks for my workplace. It is a very quiet clock because of the sweeping second hand, instead of the "ticking" one. Would have gotten 5 stars, but on one of the three clocks, the 'hour' hand was just hanging there and not secured to the post, in the middle. I had to open and fix a brand new clock...which didn't make me happy. But I guess you get what you pay for.

The clock does the job for the price...it's not completely silent though, the 2nd hand sweeps with a slight noise. The clock I received says (CHANGSHENG) in huge letters below the 12 also, not like the one in the product pic.

Rats. I've had this for a couple of years and it's still on it's first battery. A year in, I dropped it and shattered the glass cover. However, in not one instance have I had to adjust the time setting, even with no cover.

Not too exciting. But works well.

I got this clock for the garage. I am very pleased with it. It is beautiful and keeps the time very well. I'm so glad I bought it. By the way, it is silent. It does not tick with the movement of the second hand. That was an added plus for me!!

Very good contrast between numbers and face - can be viewed/read from a distance. There's no sound because the second hand glides continuously (no jagged tick motion). Haven't noticed any major discrepancies with my phone/internet clock. Overall works great for my needs (living room clock).Reason for docking star: Quality control. When I first opened the package and installed batteries, the second hand started moving but stopped/got stuck. I removed the batteries and then the clear plastic face (unscrew the screws in the back) and noticed it's because the minute hand was slightly bent upward into the path of the second hand. After gently bending the min hand back to a flatter position, everything was right again in the world. Batteries back in and away the second hand went. Just fyi in case this happens to you :)

Very glad that I purchased this super quiet clock. It's been about a month so far, so perhaps still a bit too early to comment on its reliability, but it gives correct time, looks like 200 dollars clock lol, and again did I mention how super quiet it is? Would buy again without hesitation.

Great little clock for a great price. The best part is that it's very quiet which is exactly what I was looking for.

Product is great so far. Bought it as I really wanted a non ticking clock. It's really silent and I love it. Could have been a little cheaper and it's just a simple wall clock but otherwise great!

Love this clock. It's perfectly silent, easy to read, keeps good time. If it lasts it's the perfect wall clock.
