I love this book. I remember having this book in my classroom library as a first year teacher (that was 33 years ago). I lost the book in the mist of moving. I was so glad to find the book here and can’t wait to share it with my grandchildren!

I loved this book when I got it for my children many years ago-especially the humorous ending. Their copy was lost and I was thrilled to find another copy (like new!) on Amazon. I highly recommend it.When I looked at it anew, I hesitated for a moment to read it to my 3 and 5 year old grandchildren because the faces the little boy makes are drawn so gruesomely. I couldn't remember how old my own children were when I read it to them. I went ahead. Both grandchildren were thoroughly tickled with the book and we read it over and over again. Even the 3-year old thought it was very funny.

Have loved this story for years but couldn't find it. Then, found it on Amazon, ridiculously priced. So I watched till the price was much, much more reasonable. So happy now.

Just as funny now as I remember it being 35 years ago when reading it to my nephew. Now it’s my grandkids I’m reading it to and they’re laughing.

This book was a favorite of my son's, and I was so happy to find it for his children! They love it, too.
