Great wardrobe for everyday use!
Wow! When I bought this I was expecting something that would collapse under a little bit of weight. After a full month of use, I'm blown away by how sturdy and useful this thing is.My room had no closet, so I decided to get a stand alone wardrobe. This thing took about an hour to assemble, and while it could be a bit tricky at times if you follow the instructions you'll be fine. Make sure to measure the space you'll be putting this in, as it does take up a decent amount of space. The good:Strength: I've got about 15 dress shirts, 20 t shirts, 5 pairs of pants, 5 pairs of shorts, and a few sweaters in this thing. I also have some duffel bags resting on the top of this wardrobe. It has not shown any signs of collapsing or folding under this weight. Very impressive.Style: It's not the sexiest thing in the world but it will get the job done. Black is a clean color that I think looks better than those awful beige wardrobes. The not so good:Flaps: The flaps being zippers is sort of annoying. I usually just fold up the straps for daily use and leave them there. Zippering them shut then back open is a lot of work to grab a shirt, and leaving them down but un-zippered just looks sloppy. If I could make one change, I'd have the flaps be held down with a few pieces of velcro for quick access and closing.Verdict: if you are looking for a standalone wardrobe under $50 that can hold all your clothes, this is the purchase for you.

Priced Right
Besides storing clothes, this 6-foot high, 5-foot long, and 18-inch wide unit can double as effective and affordable room divider. The lightweight materials diminish the tipping hazards – no need to bolt to a wall – and the black non-woven fabric blocks light. When filled with clothes, it blocks sound, too. We bought two units, and positioned them to convert a loft-like space into a temporary bedroom (see pix.)The six generously spaced shelves (nine if you count the floor), hold lots of clothes and linens. The two movable hanging clothes bars are sufficient for lightweight shirts, but I wouldn’t tax them with heavy coats or pants nor should you overload them. The metal clasp that attaches to the shelf bar is pliable and will sag depending on the weight. Common sense should rule your storing/hanging decisions. On price, size, convenience, and versatility this is an excellent purchase. One unit arrived in great condition. The cover to the second unit arrived smelling like a musty old camper. The non-woven fabric can't be washed and repeated airings were ineffective. SONGMICS customer service responded instantly to my complaint, shipping me a new cover without requiring the return of the smelly one. This is a budget-friendly product that comes with first-class service. Highly recommend this portable clothes closet by SONGMICS.

Great customer service and a mostly solid product
EDIT 03/2019: one of the zippers broke with minimal use. Not a big deal unless you are trying to keep pets out.I was looking for a reasonably priced wardrobe to store some clothes in my basement. I wanted something solid, but I didn't want to spend over 100 for a wooden one. This appeared to be a reasonably priced option that would fit the bill. The closet arrived in a very large cardboard box. While the all the rods were labelled, the connector pieces were not (but it was easy to tell what pieces were what). The instruction manual was simple enough that anyone could assemble the product. The pieces came together easily enough, and additional tools were not necessary. When assembled, the closet was both light and sturdy. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the connectors. The connectors are an inflexible, brittle plastic. While they assemble well, they are prone to shatter should you try to remove a rod from them. The "shelves" are made of a tarp like material that pulls the rods (and the connectors) very taut. This can pull on the rods (which in turn affects the connectors). This made one of the floor connectors (that made up the shelf legs) raise off the ground. As I was trying to adjust the tarp, one of the corner connectors snapped. Little pieces of plastic flew across the room. While it came with extra connectors, I had another break (forcing me to stop the assembly).I emailed Songmic's customer service, and I received a prompt reply. Not only were they understanding and courteous, they gave me a partial refund and shipped me some new connector pieces. It did take a few days to receive them but it was at no charge to me. I was able to complete the shelf without further delays. It is always nice to have a vendor that cares about the customer.Overall, I like the completed shelf. It is spacious and appears able to support the clothing I put in it. The zippers are fine, and the tarp material that covers it feels solid enough. This closet is not air tight (due to slight gaps between floor sections), so this would not be recommended if you were storing your clothes (or whatever else) in a damp area.I would strongly suggest this closet provided you want a spacious, easy to assemble closet that you do not plan on moving or disassembling.

Great budget closet!
This is a great, stable, and cheap alternative for a closet! It was very simple to assemble, all of the pieces were included (none missing) and well-labeled. Everything fit together perfectly, and it was light enough to move by myself even after full assembly. All in all, this is a great closet organizer for people who move often or just need a cheap option!
