Soft/cold silk edges. Light material. My nephew loves it!
Very pleased with this blanket!!! Very soft, lightweight material. The silky edges are SO soft and feels cool to your skin...exactly like you’d expect on a silky blanket. The edges are sewn on well and have held up for close to a year now. I like that it’s not thick material, I would say it’s more medium weight fleece so it’s not hot or heavy at all but will keep you warm in the cold. It’s a child’s size blanket so it’s small. It’s perfect to cover a baby but it’s not for going to cover your toddler up entirely and for sure too small for adults. I personally love the size. It doesn’t get in the way of kid’s bedding and isn’t big or heavy enough to cause them to overheat under layers of blankets.I bought this for my nephew because he would hold silky fabric and tickle/rub his face to fall asleep at night so I figured he needed something of his own to help him fall asleep. He LOVES this blanket.I have a nanny cam in his room and I’ve seen him hold it by a corner and pull up his pants and tickle up and down his leg or tickle his arm and face. It’s adorable and I’m happy I found him a blanket that makes him feel comforted.I would recommend this blanket and would have no issues buying another for my nephew or for a gift.

A gift for Baptism
Even though I had a soft cover for the baptism gown, I included a new blanket for the newborn to be coming up soon. As a keepsake for the new parents, this would be a soft and pretty gift in the bedroom for the newborn after the baptism.

This blanky is nearly Identical to the one I had in my childhood 45 years ago! Very comforting blanky soft and oh so nice.

Clear packaging
The blanket is exactly what you would expect based on how it’s advertised. Exact same color. Cute little bow. Soft. However this is the only item I’ve ever had delivered from any company in clear see through packaging. I ordered it to be a prop in some gender reveal photos, however everyone in the house saw the color as I was not home when it arrived. Super bummed. Good blanket, but don’t order if your keeping gender a secret…lesson learned.
