If you really like sour, get this. Just what I wanted, moist and soft and very sour. The package is very large and can be used for a long time. After I opened it, I put it in the refrigerator. I snack from time to time when I want something sour. But today I will bake brownies with them. It is a high quality and affordable product, I will buy it again when I run out because it is also organic and kosher too

I really like these dried tart cherries. I used to get sweetened ones, but once I tried these, I'll never go back to sweetened. They are tart and have a big cherry taste. I used them in candy, mince meat, and I can imagine them being wonderful soaked and put in muffins or pancakes. They are just wonderful.

Clean, no additives, no sugar or oil.Good size bag for the price.Great for snacking ( they are tart with just right amount of sweetness)I really enjoy them.

The cherries are ok. They are quite tart. They seem fairly small. I have found little pieces of pit in them. I can still eat them, though. They are ok. ..However, I bought another brand of dried cherries at the same time and prefer them more. I recommend "Dried Dark Sweet Cherries, 32 oz bag, unsweetened, No Added Sugar, Sunrise Fresh Dried Fruit Co. of California". They are larger, plumper, and I like the taste better. They are not labeled as tart, but I think there is a bit of tartness in combination with the sweet. I recommend them.

These look, feel and taste like cherries. So many of the others I have order don’t resemble the fruit they are supposed to be. No sugar coating, not hard. Soft little nuggets that are sweet and tangy.

This is an awful product. How did it get 4+ star rating? Did this product change and no quality control? Chipped fiber-board would be an improvement. Nothing about this product is good. They are almost totally tasteless and in a blind test couldn't begin to identify them as any kind of fruit let alone cherries. Soaking, sugar, boiling ... nothing, just nothing helps them. Add to that there are bits of hard debris w/i the product, hopefully pit pieces, which made this product double unpleasant. Finally gave up trying to recoup my investment and tossed. Almost tried to use for the wild birds but felt would be a cruel.

A Lot Smaller Than Most, but Awesomely Tart... Not good for making cookies, they stay hard, but GREAT for snacking... A Plus in our Food Book...

These were a 2nd choice when my favorite wasn't available. They aren't plump,chopped small, too sour, tart means a little kick to me- these are lip puckering! When I bake I have to sweeten these. Not worth the trouble.
