Not an easy install
More wiring than just plug and play

Installs just like in the videos - one note if you are a 2020 onward superduty owner
The media could not be loaded. Installing on a 2021 Ford F250 SuperDuty 4 door cab.Arrived quickly, its a big heavy expensive box maybe don't leave it sitting in the driveway all day.Everything packed nicely, we watched all the videos on the web - it turns out none of the videos we looked at were from AMP. Other folks did videos of the install.Only bump in the road we had is that for a Ford (2019 maybe) 2020/2021 there are FOUR wires you have to connect to the OBD2 connector. This wasn't in any of the videos we watched because they were like for 2018 trucks. The two purple wires are easy and a no brainer to connect, the two other wires that have to be connected to two of the wires behind the plug. It wasn't real clear in the instructions on first read. We called customer support, waited for about 15 mins, a tech support rep answered and walked me through what needed to be done. There are two special connectors for piercing the two OBD2 wires that come into the back of plug. A little awkward to get to but we nailed it. Steps worked first time. This step isn't covered in any of the videos we watched. As it turns out, wiring the two LEDs on each side took as much time as it did to install the steps.Only been on the truck a week and everyone loves how much easier it is to get in the truck and I like how they tuck into the cab so you can't see them. Will update this a year from now.EDIT - one year later. 1-11-2022Steps working perfect, no issues, never not worked or hesitated. Can't even think of getting in the truck without using the steps.

Works on a 2022 F-250 with SYNC 3
Install isn't bad. About 4 hours to do. Wiring not that bad as long as you follow instructions. Hardest part was tapping into the 2 wires on backside of OBD II plug. Just because they are small and not a lot of room to get to them.

Not plug and play for 2021 Ford Superduty
First of all, the equipment is of great quality and have been nice to have on my 2021 F250 that sits 2"higher than most F250s. But, in all my research I kept hearing the term "plug and play." All the videos show the system being plugged in to the OBD2 port and thats it. Well not so fast... If you have a 2020 or newer F250 there are two more wires that must be connected. You have to tap two wires on the OBD2 harness on your truck. Well that was a challenge and the instructions are great up until you get to this step. I don't like messing with factory wiring on a new truck and I would have passed if I knew this. Don't understand why one would have to do this when you are already plugging in to this port. Some information about this step and why we have to do this would be nice. This step was difficult as there is not a lot of extra slack in the factory OBD2 wiring. I got one of the center part of the positap flipped around and the steps did not work. Instructions need to be improved. But the steps themselves were simple to install and they do work great.

I finally pulled the trigger!
I’ve wanting these steps from day one and Amazon had a good deal on them. I installed by myself. Took me three hours. Look great and they don’t get hot because they are tucked away when not in use.

Look good but small issues
I purchased the amp steps for my 2021 FordF350 with a 6” lift. They look and operate greatThe only issue I had was the fact that you have to tap the blue and white wire to the original OBD. I don’t like doing this to a brand new truck. But the instructions were super clear and it took me about two hours to install with the help of YouTube vids.
