I put a "5" for flavor but to be honest I've never tasted it. My dog is a Golden Retriever so he'll eat just about anything. When he was a puppy he had allergies so we struggled to find a food that was compatible with his digestion. He's 9 years old now and we've been feeding him the Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free since he was a puppy and he does great on it. Highly recommended.

Seems great but the price is pretty steep!

My dog just turned 8, and I had had her on a senior formula from another brand. Her coat was so dull and she had no energy. So I decided to try the Merrick and I'm so glad that I did. My old girl is so excited to eat her meals, her energy has gone way up, and her coat is so glossy and pretty that people regularly compliment her on walks now.

More expensive but reviews and ingredients are good. Big and small dogs at our house eat it without hesitation.

I tried this food due to my dog having allergies and I wanted to feed a high quality food that would stop all the reactions to others foods. My dog transitioned into this food very well and loves it. The kibbles are a good size and easy to chew even for a smaller size dog. My dog feels better, no itching and red ears and skin. Highly recommend!
