Helped my senior dog
My dog had reached a ripe old age and suddenly was having a hard time eating. The arthritis in her spine hurt to lean over to eat, and as things progressed she was becoming rapidly more wobbly and unstable.I suddenly realized she needed this feeder that I'd noticed on Amazon and ordered it right away.It took about a day for her to quit being afraid of it and give it a try (she was a huge chicken, but treats helped), and I think she quickly appreciated how she could eat from her bowl without it nonstop sliding away from her.She was a formerly 75lb lab mix, and this feeder was the perfect size for her. We were very happy to discover how much less of a mess was made from her drinking water, and the ear of it made her drink more often, which she badly needed. It easily contained the food that slopped out of her bowl and made eating easier on her all around.I wish I had gotten this earlier when her blind (from age) brother was still with us, I know it really would have helped him to eat and drink. As our old girl got weaker she learned to lean on it a bit to eat, and toward the end we were able to modify things so she could sit down and lean against my leg for stability or lay down and eat.We lost our sweet girl a month before Christmas, and her brother preceded her by a couple months.I only regret that we didn't buy this feeder much earlier, well before our house became a doggie hospice. It made cleaning easier and kept their area cleaner.Thankfully the plastic is strong and sturdy so that it can wait in the garage until we are ready and the right dog comes along again.(The cats enjoy standing on it and curling up for naps, but they've got plenty of things to do that with already.)(I still hadn't moved the feeder to the garage from the kitchen yet, it just felt feels so *final*, but I think it's time.Adopt, don't shop, folks.)

A great option at a good price
Raised dog food trays are all over the place on price, style and quality and there is no direct correlation between the three. My daughter had a nice one from a pet store but it was more expensive then I was willing to spend (around $70). After all, it’s just molded plastic and they rarely are attractive.Been searching for a good solution for quite a while. This one checks all the boxes. It’s the perfect height for my golden retriever. It’s sturdy enough that I’m not worried about it tipping or being knocked over. The stainless steel bowls included are just OK. They are decent but a little on the thin side. Nothing that would stop me from buying this and they can always be replaced, there’s nothing special about the size or shape of them that would prevent replacements - another selling point. Finally, it doesn’t look like a cheap piece of plastic. It’s not going to make better homes and gardens but it’s one of the more attractive ones I found.

This is the one!
We have a growing Golden Retriever puppy and this is the third set of raised bowls we have tried. I’ll save you some time—it’s perfect. It’s incredibly sturdy, looks good, and will last a lifetime. Yes, water can drip down under the water bowl but it’s easy to quickly wipe it out with a towel once a week or so. It has a substantial footprint but that’s what you want with a rambunctious dog. Truly it was worth every penny (I got the used-like-new one) and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Perfect height. Best I found but there is a big BUT…
It is very sturdy, not ugly and the perfect height for my very large Great Pyrenees and boxer/Saint Bernard mix. Even my Boston Terrier easily drinks out of it with no effort. That’s the good. The not right/needs changed. The finger holes to remove the 5 cup bowls should be positioned across from each other at 10/5 and 2/7, I think, to easily remove the bowls. The position they are in makes no sense, especially with the water bowl. Water does get in the wells and unless you have microfiber cloths, it can be messy to sop up the water. But the biggest problem is the size of the water bowl. It is WAY too SMALL for any large dogI spend too much time filling up the bowl and sopping out the bowl wells. It is good for the dogs and makes it much easier for them to comfortably eat, but the small size of the water bowl is not, especially in warm/hot weather. It just needs tweaking. I do wish I had only bought one so I could have bought the redesign when they make it. I will say this. The design is so close to being perfect that it well worth doing so. It is the THE BEST ONE I FOUND. I hope they do revised model with the necessary changes. I’d buy two of themIn in a heart beat and use the old ones for our door plant stands! ( they sure wouldn’t get knocked over! Lol) As it stands, it has its problems but it is the best I found.

Great item!
I had one of these stands previously. When my Doberman went to rainbow bridge I kept it as I was getting another Doberman puppy. He used it with no problems, however it was getting aged and needed replacing. At the time I couldn’t find this. I opted for another that was nice two separate metal stands, they were very nice. HOWEVER, they were flimsy, moved easily and my Doberman became afraid of it and STOPPED EATING! I finally realized it was the stands when I hand fed him and he ate his food up.I found this, exactly like the previous one but it was brown. That’s really better. I took it out of the box, set it up, put his food in and he was a happy boy again ate everything. For cleaning, it’s not a big deal. I take it outside and clean it with the hose. It’s big and would be clumsy cleaning in the kitchen. After all don’t we want this big for our bigger dogs?🤔. Yes, the water collects under the water dish 🤭. Wouldn’t you rather the water collect there instead of on the floor?🤔. It’s no big deal, pick up the stand and empty it. Don’t let this point prevent you from getting this. The price is excellent. I paid more for the 2 stands that were “prettier” to end up giving them away.

Very strurdy
First thing that struck me when this arrived: this is big! It takes up quite a bit of floor space, the base being overall about 70 cm x 36 cm, narrowing of course towards the top. The two bowls are also big, and have a good depth too, less likely that there'll be any spillage. They are very easy to take out as there are two large finger slots for each bowl, but little chance they will otherwise fall out. This is also very sturdy and well made, any accidentally knocking over is unlikely, and I would image it would take a very big and boisterous dog, or a very determined one to upset it.

Love it!
We love this water/food dish for our dog. It's great for her digestion and is the perfect height for her. My only complaint is sometimes we hit it or she is sloppy when she drinks, which causes the water is 'overflow' in the basin underneath. We've been good on cleaning it up, but I'm sure it could attract mold if not properly maintained. Would absolutely still buy again though, it's a great bowl.

Great feeding dish.
I ordered a elevated feeding dish because the vet said it would help my small (13lb) dog with his regurgitation issues. So far so good. It keeps the food neat and he seems to be doing better.
