3/16" ID Silicon Tubing, JoyTube Food Grade Silicon Tubing 3/16" ID x 5/16" OD 10 Feet High Temp Pure Silicone Hose Tube for Home Brewing Winemaking

I brew beer at home. I use these for my kegs as they fit the carb stones and liquid post connections. They come in handy for other homebrew uses as well. No problems with heat or cold temps.

I know it said food grade silicone hose but I used it for a remote control truck project for the high temperature rating. And has worked very well.

I ordered 10 feet. The packaging said 10 feet. The tubing was 25 feet long. I'm not complaining. Not super thick but I got it to back flush heater cores so it will work just fine.

Nice stuff but it's too big for the racking cane, it allows air in. I'll have to use some other tubing to rig it to work. Easily sanitized, just boil it for a bit.

As advertised. I like the quality. Durability and flexibility.

My Arizer Extreme Q II XQ2's "whip" silicone hose was getting gummed up after a couple months of use, and my researching led to people recommending "buy a new one". I'm not a fan of disposable parts nor expensive parts. I'll try soap instead of my usual isopropyl solution since that would inhibit the cure of silicone.For the latter, this product is a perfect long-term solution at the lowest cost. Specifically this is the 5/16" ID x 7/16" OD size, and fits the glass whip connectors perfectly. Bought 50ft of it to save on the $/ft. Best feature of this is the original whip was too short for our tabletop use, so this lets us cut a custom longer size to our liking. Last positive note: Arrived in sealed bag which reassured me it's actually food grade.

I bought this product as it's not just a silicone tube but it doesn't leave a rubber taste in the water that I use it to filter. Excellent tubing! It's the best for water treatment for hiking.

Bought this to go between a pump and PVC pipe in a fountain All will be under water. Have used clear tubing before and it gets hard and when moving pumps around is difficult. Don't know how much pressure for other projects it will hold but works great for my purpose.

Buscaba una manguera para la bomba de agua purificada y realmente es buena pq no deja olores ni sabores. Hay que darle una limpiada cada mes al menos pero no cada dos días como la original que venía con la bomba.

Perhaps fine for tropical fish aquariums, not so good for feeding 15 feet to a pump in the Head of your sailboat. Kinks easily. Vern in West Van.
