These cutting mats are a great value for the very nominal price. They are a good size for most cutting needs and hold up well so far. I have found that the textured backing (of which I was initially skeptical) works very well as a non-skid backing. No sliding on my granite countertops, which makes for safe cutting. These are durable but with enough flexibility to pick up and drop cut items onto a sheet pan or into a pot. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

They're a lot thicker than I expected, so they don't bend as easily as some of this style do, but, that thickness will likely add to the durability. I like the idea of having a separate board for raw chicken and one for cooked meats and another for raw beef and another for raw pork and yet another for breads and vegetables, but they take up less space than a single classic board.

These are GREAT! We had others that were similar and when we stuck them in the dishwasher, they would come our warped and you'd end up cutting food on a bent mat. These go in the dishwasher and come just as stiff as they went in. They're perfect! They're easy to clean because they can stand the dishwasher and they're sturdy for cutting any food on.

Bought 2 sets -- one to use on table when using nice table linens to shield spills at dinner time and one set for cutting purposes.

Harder to clean than my old ones (by a different company). The cutting side has small octangular grooves in it instead of a smooth cutting surface. They are very sturdy though.
