I bought this to support a couple sets of string lights over my 26' x 10' deck space. There was more than enough length to allow for a crisscross pattern in each direction so that I have 4 x patterns of lights above my deck. The hardware is good, not great but acceptable for the cost. Be sure to predrill holes for the screws since they are stainless thus not as strong as regular steel. I've had the lights up for a few weeks now and the cables have relaxed slightly, but that is fine. All in all, I feel for the price these are tough to beat.

We recently decided to install patio string lights in our backyard and due to the distance, quickly realized that we would need about 85 ft of guide wire to prevent the lights from sagging. I looked at a lot of other kits and for the 100 ft range, this was the most complete. The instruction manual that came with this kit was full of spelling mistakes and was not very clear. Also some of the parts did not come properly sized to adhere to their instructions.For example, they recommended that you needed to connect the thimble to the turnbuckle to protect the wire from chafing. However, the thimble opening is not wide enough to attach to the turnbuckle so I had to get some pliers and force them together. Other than that, this had everything I needed to do a 5 line zig zag W pattern across the patio, with only a few feet of wire and 3 hooks leftover. We decided to not use the twist ties and opted for UV outdoor zip ties instead for a cleaner and more professional look but would still definitely recommend this kit. It's been about 2 weeks and they still look to be holding strong.

This kit made the task of hanging sting lights so much easier. The downside is that it comes with twist ties and zip ties worked better but other than that, this has everything you need!

It's a great installation process.，The kit has everything you need to create a sturdy, custom made line to hang your outside lights. The kit comes with plastic zip-ties to keep the whole rig together. Simple, elegant, easy to install. Let's see how long it lasts.

The metal components seem to be strong enough and good quality with the exception of the screws, i'd use your own outdoors not sure how rust resistant it all is. However the cord and its coating is a little thinner then expected. (i know it says the size I had no refrence) When installing I frayed the cord a little trying to apply tension so use caution but for the price it works great.

Used this to string patio lights. The hardware was of a better quality than I expected for the price and that made for a solid installation
