Quality, Quiet Grinder at a Great Price
I am very impressed with the quality of this grinder especially considering the low cost and quiet motor. I was looking for a way to ease my preparation of fresh pet food for my doggies. I tried blenders, food processors, choppers, etc. that all made the process too labor intensive. This grinder was the best solution. I was able to grind the cooked carrots, peas, sweet potato, and de-boned rotisserie chicken with the greatest of ease. Bottom line, this grinder is my new favorite, essential kitchen gadget. The grinder has given me the incentive to grind other things. My next project is to grind boneless, skinless chicken breast with spinach and feta cheese to make healthy burgers. I am also thinking that this great grinder will make a great gift. AAA+++ 100% satisfaction.

Mean Grinder.
Went to the store after receiving the grinder. Bought brisket? and sirloin to make hamburgers. This is the best $50.00 I have spent in a long time. It worked (as my dad would say) like a charm.

Good little unit
Well first time using a meat grinder and my experience was not horrible with this little mighty machine did it bog down when I put to much meat in to fast yes did it plug up yes the ligaments and tendons plugged the head up was it easy to disassemble and operate yes I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to someone getting into grinding there own meat as a cheap machine that gets the job done.2 days later and I’m changing my review of this little miracle machine after rereading the manual and looking closely at the pictures I realized they shipped it to me with the blades backwards in the unit so when I disassembled cleaned and reassembled the grinder I put it back like it was and that is what was causing the issues with head getting plugged up I switched the blade around and bam it worked soo great half the time to grind and no plugged up head and didn’t bog the grinder down once so just a reminder check the blade and which way it is oriented to the manual and avoid my mistake.

Off To A Promising Start
So far I've made three pounds of country sausage (Alton Brown's recipe--if you're Southern you know) and am pleased with the grinder's performance. I was pretty thorough in reading the directions and chilled the metal parts in the freezer while I cut up a chunk of CostCo pork loin, being sure to trim some fat the from the remaining loin to add to my chunks, which I seasoned and chilled, popping the meat into the freezer for a bit before grinding--the chunks definitely weren't frozen. I assembled the metal parts according to the directions and got down to grinding. The grinder is not particularly quiet but made short work of the grind and I was pleased with the performance--the motor seems plenty strong. Overall, the grinder is quite compact and will be easy to store. Build quality seems good, the metal parts are light but well made and the blade and dies are solid and sharp. I washed all the metal parts by hand and found the auger housing a bit difficult to clean, but didn't have the proper tools on hand, so that should be remedied in the future. The unit grinds quickly and efficiently and I feel like I could process some large amounts of sausage or ground beef without difficulty. This batch of sausage was bulk, so I have not tried using the stuffing tub to make cased sausage. So far, I am pleased with the purchase and think it was money well spent. I purchased this because the accessory hub on my KitchenAid stand mixer went bad and I couldn't use my KA meat grinder attachment any more. I think this unit outperforms my old KA grinder attachment.

Heads up cleanable parts leave residue
The media could not be loaded. So let me tell you a story about my Pyre Leo. He loves me Im sure but damn if he didn't want do a runner all over the neighborhood to see if he could get fed better. So a dear friend asked me "Well what the heck are ya feeding him?". I told her and she said "I would run too!". Okay I get it... So making dog food was my next endeavor. My mom back in the 70s used to have this old cast iron crank grinder that ... gee I really dont recall, maybe she ground livers in it but I swear I never touched them knowingly. Anyway back to this archaic had crank thing from the dark ages. I didn't want to purchase something like a hand crank. I want to put the stuff in and out comes the delicious meat mixed with veggies product READY to cook and keeping all my fingers. Bang! Amazon Prime finds this model Sunmile Sunmile Electric Meat Grinder and Sausage Maker... not sure if Ill be doing sausages but never say never. Ordered it at 11 yesterday evening and in the morning I was grinding up some steaks I got that were simply to tough and bammo some edible ground beef came out. Threw in some veggies. Cooked em up and topped their kibble with it. Machine was easy to clean and shape is square which is good for storage reasons. The price is around 50 bucks so good value there with other grinders being uo to 3 times more. You get what you need here. So today Im really pleased with it. Now the test is HOW LONG WILL IT LAST. Its smooth and reasonably quiet, thats good and hopefully this is an indicator on quality and will be what makes it last.
