OXO 12246100 Good Grips Sweep & Swipe Laptop Cleaner, White, One Size

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this little gadget, but it’s now one of my favorite desk tools! The OXO Good Grips Sweep & Swipe is compact, well-designed, and incredibly easy to use. One side has a soft microfiber pad that gently wipes smudges and fingerprints off my laptop screen without any streaks. The other side has a retractable brush that’s perfect for getting dust and crumbs out of my keyboard—way more satisfying (and effective) than using compressed air. What I really appreciate is how portable it is. It easily fits in my laptop bag, so I take it with me when working on the go. The quality feels solid, as you’d expect from OXO, and it’s a small investment that keeps my devices looking clean and new. Highly recommend for anyone who works on a laptop regularly!

Think OXO only did gravy granules and stock cubes? Think Again! This review is for the OXO Good Grips Sweep & Swipe Laptop Cleaner. The item came nicely packaged in a windowed envelope. It wasn't too difficult to open and I was able to free the cleaner from the packaging with a couple of bends of the cardboard and a tear. Though not related to the product, this item was shipped in a small box, I feel the packaging could have been reduced, and it would have fit in an envelope, and therefore through the letterbox. However, this required a physical handover because it was delivered in a box. This is an amazon issue though, and not anything to do with the product itself. Things I like about the device: 1. The soft grey bristles which can be accessed by sliding the button in an upwards position is a dream. It glides over the keyboard with ease, getting into every nook and cranny and destroying any biscuit crumbs in the process. This has worked wonders on a full-size PC keyboard, a Macbook Air (Butterfly) keyboard and an iPad Pro magic keyboard. In all instances, it removed all crumbs and dust and other bits of fluff 100% of the time. 2. The brush can also work on your phone ports, such as cleaning the charging port or headphone port (if you're lucky enough to still have one of those). Though it doesn't provide a deep clean, the bristles do penetrate enough to remove any debris that may be lurking in any of your ports. 3. The screen cleaner can be accessed by removing the plastic cap. This is great for cleaning fingerprints off your screen. As this is a microfibre pad, there's no risk of scratching your device(s). I've used it for cleaning PC monitors, laptop monitors and the front and back of my phone, including the camera lens. You may have to add a little pressure if it's particularly dirty, but it produces great results every time. When you're done with the microfibre cleaning pad, you simply attach the plastic cover back in place, it locks in place, which means it won't randomly fly off and be lost on the move. 4. The device is small enough to fit in your pocket, or in a bag and won't take up any space at all. If you carry your phone or laptop with you on a daily basis and are looking for a cleaning solution, then this is the thing you need in your life. 5. My girlfriend can attest to the fact that the grey brush tickles, especially around the nose or ear region. Though I would urge caution if you plan to use this device cleaner as a weapon of tickle destruction (WTD). The things that are not so great: 1. This may be personal preference, but in order to release the brush, you have to push in and slide down to return to the original position. This is just a slight annoyance for me because it doesn't just slide up and down, and as a convenient product, I think this isn't that convenient. 2. Both the cleaning brush and cleaning pad can attract dust, this is easily rectified by just brushing it away with your hand. As there is no top cover for the cleaning brush though, if it's left around, it may naturally attract dust over time. 3. The price point for this item is on the expensive side for what it actually is. Though you have the confidence of buying quality from a trusted brand, it almost feels as if you're paying more for the brand than for the product itself. I think if this was priced at around £5-6, it would then be worth 5 stars from me. Overall: Overall though, this is a genuine must-have accessory for anyone that has a laptop or phone or screen that gets dirty. If you're like me the slightest fingerprint or daintiest crumb really bugs me, so having this on hand is perfect! Also as an added bonus, you have new tickling capabilities at your fingertips... muhahahaha!

My mechanical keyboard gets SO dusty, as do my screens. This little tool is perfect for keeping them both clean. The brush is really soft and does a great job of getting between the keys and getting in the screen corners. The little pad clears dust off the screen quickly and easily. It's a sturdy little thing. It's plastic, but even the brush retractor doesn't feel like it's going to break any time soon. It's small enough to throw in your laptop bag, in a draw, or keep on your desk. Super easy to use, and seems pretty efficient at what it does. My only gripe is that it's not black.

i love it, it's nice and small so it fits in my laptop bag without taking up much space at all. The soft brush is great at removing all of the loose dust that gathers between keys on the keyboard and there is a small microfiber pad thing which is great at removing smears from the screen. Don't use any cleaning products with the cleaner though as i've done this with a previous one and it kind of impregnates the pad with grime and it's difficult to clean afterwards.

Great product for the sake of the brush side which has helped me clean many a keyboard until now, however the ‘sponge’ side isn’t very spongey at all and has a hard time cleaning screens for that reason. Phone screens? Fine. Laptop screens? Not so much as you can’t put too much pressure on the screen, or enough to wipe effectively

A handy, well made little tool to keep in the office drawer/laptop bag, but it's not perfect. The brush is good quality - it's soft and thick, and ideal for laptop keys or low-profile keyboards. I use a mechanical keyboard with deeper keys though, and while it still does a decent job, it doesn't quite reach into the gaps between the number keys and F keys, for example. I know that this is marketed as a laptop cleaner, so I can't really complain or mark it down for this, but adding an extra 50-100mm to the length of the brush would make it so much more useful. The microfibre cloth is a bit rubbish. Plenty of other reviews point out that it's not removable so difficult to clean, but the bigger issue for me is how hard it is. I was expecting a soft, towel-style microfibre, but this is more like a thin dust cloth stretched over... I can't even think what - something hard, but with a tiny bit of give. For now, I'll keep it for the brush, but for my own use, I can't help thinking I'd have been better of saving myself some money by stealing one of the other half's makeup brushes.

The physical item bears out the reason for the selection and rating for this type of cleaner. Well met in all rated aspects.

Very handy little thing. As you can see, it is smaller than a mouse, so it is easy to carry everywhere and clean your laptop keyboard and screen and your phone’s screen. I bought another one as a gift!
