No damage, easy instructions, use the glue!!
** Update - This will NOT fit a 55” with the newer style feet/stands on either end of the TV. You will either need the feet closer together (not an option on mine) or a universal TV stand/base. The doors went in perfectly with only one tiny adjustment needed. So relieved this piece came without ANY damage! It was packaged very well, which I wasn’t expecting based on the other reviews. Took two hours to put together (mom and 11yo daughter). We have yet to put the doors on but they’re pretty standard and I don’t expect any issues. The one complaint I have about tools is the cam locks don’t alway feel like they’re locking and they are so cheap. They will break with the slightest tension while tightening. We glued all the dowels and hopefully will help where others said this was a bit flimsy. No issues as of yet and it will hold a 55” TV easily. With the unit itself, I wish the holes on the back had covers. We don’t have cable boxes so I’ll have to decorate to hide the holes you would otherwise use for cords. (This pertains to the top shelf only since the doors will cover the bottom 4 holes). Overall I’m very happy and happy I took the chance on this cabinet!!

Okay if you cannot afford quality.
I would not call this “wood”. I would call it particle board. That means if you put a plant on it and drips and puddles on it, it will disintegrate. It also means you can’t move it around like a solid wood piece because the joints will tear apart. The principal means of attaching parts to each other are CAM BOLTS and CAM LOCKS. You can easily screw the cam bolts in too far so that the cam lock will fail to lock. The dowels are made out of soft pine and can easily break. The dowels can also be accidentally inserted to far and the board will “bow”, I.e. there will be a bump where the dowel is.I can only guess that the 4 and 5 star ratings are by people who have experience with furniture kits that are much worse. I have seen much worse. The instructions are clear and the parts fit! That is a nice surprise. But if you like quality furniture, you will not like this.

Glad I took a chance
My wife and I have been looking for a white corner tv stand for YEARS (apparently the world does not share my wife's love of white furniture). I've been eyeing a few on Amazon for some time now, but the prices seem a bit high for glorified IKEA quality, put together yourself, furniture. I bought this with some hesitation after reading the other reviews...arriving broken, pieces not lining up, quality of construction, color, etc. However, I was impressed to the point of writing a review! The manufacturer must has listened to the negative reviews (or got tired of the piece ending returned damaged) because the box with all the parts was packaged great! There were spare pieces of mdf (particle board) on either end of the box and around all sides and plenty of styrofoam holding all pieces securely. Each piece was also wrapped in protective foam paper. One piece had some minor paint defects, but it was a piece that is not visible once assembled, so I can't really complain. What impressed me the most was that the holes for the cam posts were pre-threaded! Unlike cheap IKEA furniture where you have to screw into mdf (particle board) and if the screw goes in crooked you're left with a hole. The color is bright white, so I don't know why one review said the piece was cream in color. It was so white it made my white molding look a little yellowish.Overall, I'm very happy with this piece. It looks great in our living room and is quite heavy and sturdy.

2 hour assembly. very sturdy.
seemed a bit pricey to me. the TV stand is very sturdy and I think im getting 350 dollars worth of sturdiness out of it. theres about 20 or more fasteners that tighten up to lock everything into place plus the wooden dowels, I used the glue but didn't end up using all the glue. came with extra hardware. the assembly was fairly simple for your average Joe. took me about 2 hours and I made a couple small mistakes. product arrived with no damage however did get very slightly damaged during assembly but not noticeable at all. cable access is great and the volume of the top surface is large. we didn't even need to use the cable access just put everything behind the TV. the shelves are awesome and great for decor.

What a great TV stand
First of all I was nervous taking chance ordering furniture from Amazon. The packaging is unbelievably so secured that it will be impossible to have any damage on the furniture. It is protected by particle board on both ends, styrofoam on every nook and cranny of the packaging. It is well protected.Ok let’s go to the product. It is white, very white and smooth. I ask hubby if it is laminate and he said no. Its the quality of the paint. I wanted to white wash it to match my other furniture and hubby suggested not to. He thinks the finish is so perfect and he hates to mess it up. Maybe someday... it’s so perfect for the space I needed it. It looked expensive and at the same time a little touch of nautical. This is for my lake house. So it’s perfect.

Exactly as advertised. No problems.
I was concerned because several reviews showed damage to the unit when unpacked. Mine was fine and the shipping container was in good shape with lots of protection. Instructions were clear and all hardware was present with spare parts included. No issues with assembly. Looks great. I only marked off for value because at this price it should be real hardwood instead of MDF construction. This meets my needs, was the right style I wanted, and was delivered next day. Note that in the picture we used our own door knobs instead of the ones that came with the unit, just to match other furniture in the room.

Be Prepared For Creative Adaptations
Though initially it did appear to fit together appropriately, when it came to attaching the bottom to the top, it took two and a half days to get it to fit together; and even then it does not align properly, though adequately for my purposes. As well, with the white version, there were metal scratches that do not come out that requires a follow up with Walker Edison. The finished product fills the purpose, and is attractive except when you are aware of the flaws.

Overpriced for shoddy design and construction
The cam bolts and locks did not provide a secure, firm fit in a number of places, so this 100-pound unit is not nearly as stable as it should be. There were no plastic cap covers for cam lock holes, but only cheap, tacky stickers to attach over the lock holes. No touch-up marker was provided for the white tv stand, which turned out to be needed due to a badly marred bottom panel (pre-assembled pieces were not fitted properly and scratched along the front visible surface - see photo). The front louvered doors were very difficult to line up properly – took considerable time to adjust to achieve a merely adequate fit for pair of closed doors. The unit arrived in one piece, but inside the cardboard carton was plenty of broken and crumbling Styrofoam - be prepared to spend extra time cleaning up. You might expect these kinds of problems with low-end assemble-yourself furniture in the $100-$200 range, but certainly not for a unit at this price.

Perfect size
Although it arrived with a large scratch on the base of it, it's a nice little unit, true to size and looks like the photo.

Fortunately the damaged pieces were facing the back once assembled ...
The unit arrived notably damaged. Fortunately the damaged pieces were facing the back once assembled or it would have been returned. Decent quality unit otherwise.
