I wanted to review this because it should be said that this product is a little different. I don't know why, but it is different than the 100 packs of the "supposed" same product. I have a box of TP3854-100 and a box of TP3854-200. The 100 pack is heavier weight laminate and seems a little "sticky" when you go to peel them apart-which I LIKE. It helps to hold my document in place-better. The 200 pack is definitely thinner laminate and there is no stickiness at all. My document sometimes (with a little air gust) slides around between the two sheets, sometimes giving me creases in the finished product and sometimes document misplacement, so the laminate does not have an even border around it. Still it is a decent product, but I will spend a little extra, going forward and only buy the 100 pack product. I have conducted this comparison test, twice. The only difference I can tell is that the 200 pack was manufactured in 2013 and the 100 pack was manufactured in 2011. Maybe if i get a newer pack of the 100 pack, I will see a similar issue, IDK about that.

Bought this laminator for my home office in March 2019, I pulled it out today to use it and I was able to run one sheet through it perfectly fine. After that sheet I noticed it started to smoke but I could smell the adhesive burning so I thought it was just on the roller. I put in the second sheet and it did not come out. It stopped about a third of the way through and all I could see was smoke. I tried the release lever to no avail. I had to turn it off and wait for it to cool off because it was so hot. I had it on the 3 mil setting so it was on the lower heat setting to start with. After getting the jam out, I saw that it completely burned through the sheet where it got stuck. I turned it back on and it never said ready. I realized it no longer heated up. What a waste. Definitely a waste of money. Not even worth trying to ask for warranty work since the only way to get the jam out is to open it up. I was using scotch pouches so it was simply a defective product. Very disappointed.

I have bought these laminating pouches before and really liked them, but this package has more than it's fair share of damaged plastic pouches. It looks like somebody took a pair of scissors and carved out marks into the plastic. I would say about 20% of the pouches are damaged in this manner. The rest are perfect, but I paid for 200. I'm having to inspect each pouch as I use it and turn my student's work so they won't have big lines through them. When I made memory books for my students some of them just had marks or I had to throw the plastic pouch away. This has never happened before with the Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches, I certainly hope this was a fluke and that they aren't letting their standards down.

I am a preschool teacher and I need to laminate things all the time. With our budget the way it is, I need something that I can buy myself and for a good price. 200 sheets at this cost is perfect for what I need. I am constantly using these for my teaching materials and for student work. It holds up well against the children and even does well with dry erase/wet erase markers. I recommend wet erase markers over dry erase, but that is just me. This lamination also does well with tape, velcro, or sticky tack without it falling off. It actually adheres to it pretty well. Love it!

I purchased the Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches, 8.9 x 11.4-Inches, 3 mil thick, 200-Pack for use with my Scotch thermal laminator, and they have worked great. I am a teacher and I often have the need to laminate different activities for the students to use. Having these sheets handy are great, and they allow me to create things which can be saved for years to come.Using the sheets is a very easy process, and the sheets are also of great quality. I have laminated regular paper as well as cardstock in these sheets, and have never had an issue. Both always come out looking amazing. The sheets are crystal clear and very shiny. They melt perfectly and rather quickly. Aligning the sheets is easy and effortless. It is very easy to place the papers inside the sheets and I have not experienced and wrinkles or bubbles.Bottom line is this is a great product that I use weekly. I am constantly reordering this product and thankful to always have them on hand for quick use. I highly recommend this product and would not give it anything other than five stars.

Comparing prices for laminating pockets, these pouches are very reasonable. They arrived in two days and were put to good use immediately. My wife, the crafty person, has used these pouches to laminate many items she has created for personal use and for gifts. She has designed book marks (remember books?) for many of her friends and the laminating protects them. We found that the pouches can be cut down the length and gives her multiple laminations from one pouch. These are 3 mil pouches. Make sure that the pouch comes out flat from laminator to help eliminate curl. We have not had any problems with these pouches, only user error, trying to laminate items too thick. We have laminated 2 cardstock with a printed sheet at one time and the lamination came out fine. When trimming items, don't cut too close if using thicker paper, it leaves a slight air gap around the item.

I’m impressed! I never laminated anything in my life before- and this is process was easy, effective, and enjoyable! Now I want to laminate EVERYTHING 😂I’m ready to prep my son for kindergarten since he’s skipping out on pre-school due to this pandemic. Love it!

I laminated almost 100 pages over the course of two weeks, and had no problems whatsoever. The smell is kind of obnoxious as it heats up - but that is just plastic at high heat. I love that I could use thicker paper or two pages glued back to back if I used the 5m setting. This thing is small, convenient, and awesome. After initial use, I've used it several times on and off again, and it's still great! Buy the 200 pack of sheets - totally worth it!

We love these for laminating my daughters Lego books so that they r more durable, she doesn’t lose or rip them. They work amazing. It is a bit of a pain lining up the pages so they have an equal amount on all sides but I think we’ll worth it. For smaller books we r able to fit 2 pages into one and then we cut them in half. Cutting afterwards doesn’t seem to be a problem. We have also laminated some paper crafts and matching game. When cutting just make sure to leave space ok all sides so it remains sealed.

These are solid, really thick plastic, and are very sturdy. Really nice quality. Finished product exceeded my expectations, taking regular paper to the rigidity of heavy cardboard. These will bombproof any paper product (including business cards and photos) nicely sealing out moisture and creating a stiff, washable, reusable product with little to no effort.The cost per pouch with the 20 pack is $0.50. The cost per pouch for the 50 - 100 pack is about $0.20 - $0.25 per pouch. Oddly, the 150 package seems to have a higher cost per pouch than the 50 or 100 - for higher quantities you may be better off ordering multiples of the 100 packs than the 150 pack.It is well worth the small extra cost to order these in the 50 or 100 pack, rather than the 20 pack, but be careful, the 150 pack does not seem to be as much of a bargain. Love the scotch brand laminating pouches! Amazon has better deals on this brand than Walmart does. I use these to preserve my kids art and school work, to make learning resources for my children, and to make visual supports/aids for my child with Autism. Great product!

My sister asks me to order these for her every couple of months. She continues to ask for the same order over and over again for her kindergarten classrooms year after year, so they are a great kindie teacher gift!

It does what's expected. Scotch knows what they're doing.Fantastic value for money. At Bureau en Gros, it's over double the price.
