**UPDATE**Day 35 and still very pleased! Water tastes so much better and the dirt that the first canister is removing really builds our confidence in this product (see second image). We always thought of water was clean because it's public/city water. We were wrong! I strongly recommend this product!!ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:I did a ton of research before I purchased this unit. So far I couldn't be more pleased! Reviews about leaks, especially with the gauges concerned me. The gauges seem robust and are working great. The kit includes adapters for 1" and 3/4" pipe and these adapters aren't easily found, so I really appreciate that they are included with the kit. We had some fun testing the water. We poured a few classes before and after and the difference in smell and taste was astounding! The filtered water was so much better!I installed the kit and had ZERO leaks from the get-go. I suggest a heavy layer of Teflon tape on the threaded parts and thread them completely into the filter unit. I also suggest creating a bi-pass with shutoff valves in case you have a leak and to easily change out filters. I created the bi-pass for multiple reasons, but primarily so when I bring the water level up in our pool each spring we don't filter that water. In that case chlorine is good and I want it in the water.I highly recommend this filter assembly!**just a note that the 220v outlet to the left of the filter is no longer used and has been disconnected in the breaker panel.

It works!
Installed on March 15, 2025. Have seen a noticeable difference with our well water. Our showers and toilets are no longer staining orange.So far, no issues at all with this product.2nd photo is from April 23, 2025.

Works well
The white and black water are the two filters clearing out any dust from the filter median give it some time running the water and it will clear up. It's works well hardly have any scaleing or sediment build up in the faucets or hot water heater

Worked well, but two housings cracked and company does not sell replacements.
Installed easy and worked well for a while, but two of the housings developed cracks and rendered the system unusable. Unfortunately Pro Aqua does not seem to sell replacement housings, and other housings do not fit as the size of the top of the housing seems proprietary.

It’s working as intended
This is after 1 month! The sediment filter is starting to turn a light brown. It comes white! The Filter is working as intended has really knocked our hard water and scale down. We are on city water but they pull from a well. As I saw on here other are complaining about the gauges one of mine was bad as well. Would have got a 5 star but the gauge dropped it down to 4!

Whole house filter
We have well water and it had a slight off putting taste initially, but if we ran the water for ~20 seconds it would resolve the issue. I installed PRO+AQUA Elite whole house system along with a 40 micron spin down sediment filter and UV light. Our water no longer has a bad taste and we no longer pre flush faucets before drinking the water. Added bonus, we don’t drink as much bottled water.Pros:1. Easy installation2. Great filtration system3. Replacement Filter cost reasonable compared to other brandsCons:1. Canister labels are on the back when you invert the direction of flow.2. Canisters required significant torque to prevent leaks. I used the “ring” tool that came with filter kit and a rubber mallet to stop the leaks3. Brass fittings took a couple attempts to stop the leaks. I started with Teflon tape and stopped the leaks with RectorSeal pipe sealant. I had same issue with other brass fittings on the spin sediment filter, but ultimately fixed the leaks with Teflon tape by wrapping the pipes 6x and not tighten it too much.
