Writing is better than the first book
3.5 stars. Elle and Lee are in their senior year of college while Noah is across the country settling into college. All the ups and downs of a long distance relationship come into play. Out of sight doesn’t necessarily mean out of mind, but it sure can play upon insecurities and resentment. Especially if there’s no trust and honesty. Elle seemed somewhat childish in the first book, so while she is still making mistakes, sometimes impulsively, I do see how she’s grown up from before and how her relationship with Noah has changed her for the better. The same goes for Noah. He’s not as much of a hot head with a lot of swagger. The problems that arise in this book also showcases how much they need to be able to communicate to make it work. I can also tell that the author’s writing has matured as well and liked this one more than the previous book.

Loved it!
Loved the continuation of this series!!! I originally watched the Netflix movie and decided to read the book and LOVED the book ten times more than the movie. I was so excited to read the second and it did not disappoint! Loved the side characters even more in this novel and fell in love with Lee! He is now my favorite character. Anyway I highly recommend!

Loved it as much as the first!
Great second book for this series! I just love the loyalty and commitment of Lee and Elle's relationship. I do think Lee makes some mistakes in regards to his relationship with Rachel but he does make up for them well and I think it made him more relatable. His relationship with Rachel is his first romantic relationship so of course he is going to make some mistakes in regards to balancing that with his friendship with Elle. I just love how they are always there for each other no matter what. I also really like Elle's relationship with Levi. I felt Flynn's reason for keeping secrets from Elle was a little lame. I think that could have been done a little better. I did really love Amanda though. She was just so nice and seemed genuinely concerned for Elle and Flynn's relationship. I would have hated it if there was even an inkling of romance between the two. Wonderfully done and way better than the movie in my opinion!!

Eh
The first movie was nice but this book wasn’t that great. I feel like Elle just isn’t a very likeable character, she’s kinda annoying and very irrational. The main character should be a more sensible and likeable person. This book I feel needed a better plot twist.

Not bad but movies are better
Not exactly what I thought it would be. I read the books after watching the Netflix original movies based on the books. Rarely and almost never do you find that movies are better than books but that was definitely the case this time. They are not bad books but the writer needed to give the read more I guess. Wasn’t much to it. Especially for the second book.
