Beautiful modern Swiss pocket watch built in the style of the 1800's.
I really can't say anything negative about this watch. It's lovely to look at, very solidly constructed, with a nice sapphire crystal, and it's Swiss made. I bought mine used/like new and got a great price on it. I honestly can't tell it's not new other than the fact that the box it came in is for a Tissot wristwatch rather than a pocket watch. It does run a tiny bit fast but I can adjust that. Overall I love the watch!

Beautiful, though needs daily winding
Great piece, quite beautiful in an old world, old school way. And incredibly easy to read even at a distance. One note, ad said 42 hour power reserve but it doesn’t even have a 24 hour reserve. I don’t mind that myself as I just wind it once for the day each morning. It will require a daily winding. But it’s a pretty fabulous piece!

Exactly what I was looking for!
This is a fantastic timepiece! It is an absolute beauty to look at - substantial feel with a finish that belies its Swiss heritage. The ubiquity of smartphones has replaced for many to the need or desire to carry (or wear) a watch. However, for those of us who appreciate an analog method of informing us where we are in our day the simplicity and beauty of a traditional timepiece is hard to beat.If you are looking for a mechanical pocket watch that comes from an established company with a long history of producing excellent wrist and pocket watches I strongly advise putting this Bridgeport Lepine Mechanical Pocket Watch on your short-list.

Not worth the money and bad customer service.
I ordered this pocket watch for my husband. I have purchased Tissot in the past directly from them. The watch arrived loose in the packaging, thus resulting in the chain heavily kinked and unusable. I contacted Tissot (per Amazon instructions) and they have replied as it was sold from Amazon, they are responsible. There is no way to reach out directly to Amazon as it automatically loops me to the Tissot website. So, no one is taking any ownership or responsibility for a $1,00.00 watch. I realize that Tissot sells some very expensive time pieces, however, a grand is not chump change. I am hoping Amazon will see this and at least try to resolve this.

Quality feel and very accurate for the money
Winding once a day and carrying in various orientations for the first 10 days it averaged fast by only 2 seconds a day. Feels as solidly built as my much older vintage railroad watches.

A beautiful simple classy watch
A very simple but attractive watch. Nice to have a watch in my jeans watch pocket again. It’s a wind up watch that will go almost exactly 2 days on a full wind. No batteries, like grandpa’s old watch!
