Fantastic foam roller.
After doing an intensive rehab course all day everyday for a month, I learned the value of this great tool. If shown properly it really can assist in recovery from injury (as I have). The physios really showed me the many ways and muscle groups to target and the importance in choosing the correct foam roller. I am fully converted and just wish this was out earlier in my career. It will be used during and after every fitness session in the future.This has the length and width to support back exercises and is solid to work on fascia release.

Firmness is good for massage/trigger points
just what I wanted - long and firm for surf balance practice. Firmness is good for massage/trigger points, I like rolling over it, it covers full width of the back and shoulders.
