Great value and quality! No complaints. Everyone had fun painting.

I was using these to make attractive sound-dampening panels for a work-from-home office. The canvases are of nice quality, well constructed, and sturdy enough for my needs. They seem a little overpriced, to me, but again I am no artist. I bought a 1.5" deep egg-crate memory foam mattress topper, and then cut panels out to fit inside the back of these canvases. If you're doing something similar, cut your foam panels about 1.5-2" smaller on both length and width than you need - the wood in back of these canvases is angled, so you lose a lot of space to tuck the foam in. The foam depth worked great, you can't see the egg-crate bumps through the front of the canvas or anything. I then took a nicely patterned cotton fabric from the fabric store, positioned it on the front of the canvas and tacked it tightly in place. I got upholstery tacks, but you could use small staples in a staple gun if you prefer. The result is a 4 gorgeous panels that block a TON of sound. The wood is sturdy enough to hold heavy-duty hanging hardware, and the weight of the foam & canvas itself.

After seeing some of the reviews that the canvases were ripped for the inside ones ,I decided to take mine apart to see if that was true when they arrived. they were all in great condition. They are adequately gessoed and they are stretched Just fine on the stretcher bars. I give this an a plus especially since they're so affordable. Anyone who paints knows that larger. I.e. 36 by 24 inch canvases are fairly pricey and these have The deep profile ( have one and a 1/2 inches). Which is what I want for my fluid art.

This product is good quality canvas and good has depth. Canvas is wrapped around the wood “frame”, which allows me to simply paint the sides to give a professional finish. I don’t need to frame my work.

One of the two canvases had a severely warped stretcher that was obvious at delivery. I decided to keep them as I really needed to start a project. After working on the second canvas for a few hours, the stretcher warped the same way as the first - the back bowed outward. This product is terribly disappointing.
