Mismatch with tensioner
The square hole works on the tensioner I purchased but the open end does Not for around the tensioner because of the square side. So I’d say it’s OK but not great.Evidently one needs to be careful and buy the tensioner and wrench from the same company.

Add my voice to those saying: Don't Bother
Too small to be useful, $6.36 thrown away. Don't bother...the seller says it will fit "Fi-Shock" strainer, which is clearly NOT the same size as ANY OTHER STRAINER ON THE MARKET. Don't be fooled. Don't say "that looks like the ones I use". Don't think "they are all about the same size, right?" Clearly they aren't. Don't continue to perpetuate this merchants fortunes. Speak with your wallet.Just say No.

Poor quality control
Overall construction is not bad, but fitment and function was poor. Had to spend an hour or so grinding the jaws to width of tensioner. Second issue was low quality hardware that holds the spacing of the jaws.

Puts the "come here" to the fence strainers
This tool puts the come here to the fence strainers as designed. The paint is holding up well after fencing a ten acre project. The metal seems like good quality that is holding up well and sturdy.

Doesn’t fit
Finally had a chance to use this today, and using the Fi-shock inline heavy duty strainers. IT DIDN’T FIT !! The square nub on the strainer was to big for the handle. And this comes from the same brand. I ordered 6 strainers so now I have to figure how to make it work. Don’t waste your time.

The handle doesn't fit over the square bolt.
The handle looks like it might be well-built, but I can't confirm that because it doesn't even fit over the square winch bolt of the 400-399 strainer. The notches are too small....like the handle was built for a completely different model strainer. Sadly, I have to return it and use a wrench which makes the strainer pull at an angle which sort of defeats the purpose of maximum tightening of the wire. This isn't a matter of a slight mis-fit. It is not even close to fitting. C'mon people, look at your own product and fix this.

Waste of money!
Piece of junk! After using it just eight times on the in-line fence tension strainers, the end slots bent so badly it would not grip to turn the next strainer. I hadn't even gotten the fence line up to full tension. A plain crescent wrench was a much better tool for the job.
