Absolutely love this product!!! Soooo cute and fits perfect in the house with the Christmas decor. Added some lights in the boxes and they are beautiful

These ARE thin cardboard with a heavy plastic sheet. They came with a sheet of 'glue dots' - to stick the letters on with. You can definitely just as easily use any double-sided tape, or wrap regular tape in a loop and stick on the back. I took some 'fluff' (like what you'd use to stuff a pillow, or fake snow), and put in the bottom of each box. We had small strings of lights that we kind of draped/wrapped around inside, a couple of ornaments, and suddenly these inexpensive boxes were REALLY a highlight! EVERYONE that saw them LOVED them! They sit on top of each other just fine, and really lit up the place. For ALL of the decorations that we bought, this was probably the cheapest, and the most rewarding and appreciated. When you unfold them - BE CAREFUL - they're tricky. They are NOT hard to unfold, so if you're forcing something, you're going to rip it. Folding them back up again for next year, was also a little challenging, but I think I did it. Would ABSOLUTELY buy again!

This item is like a cake box that you get from a bakery No i do not recommend it It ripped when i was taking it out of the bag

I like the box itself. I had my 17 year old son build it. I added tape to secure the box. I didn't like how loose the bottom felt after assembled. I used this for Christmas as a decoration in my master bedroom and it will also be used as a photo prop for our family Christmas photos this year. The box didn't come with the lights only the three medium size boxes you stick the letters on with this sticky stuff they provided in the box. I got the idea from a review I read on this product before purchasing. I am pleased with the box it totally gave me the look I was going for. Great for the price. I am not a crafty person but I love crafts and this was just the level of difficulty I am comfortable with assembly and use wise.

Glue doesn’t really stick I had to use tape, others than that it’s beautiful I put lights in mine like another reviewer did. Everyone loves it and wanted to know where I got it.

This is just for inside and make sure you don’t bring it outside. I just bought this item because the pictures showed it outside. I figured it must at least last a little bit from the elements but it absolutely does not belong outside. If I knew it would go bad so fast I would have saved my money and made my own from plexiglass. I didn’t try to return it because it’s badly damaged from the wind and sun.

Would have been better if the cubes could be stabilized with some sort of wire, so that they maintain the shape. There are no directions as to the assembly, however it was pretty easy. Comes with approximately 18 glue dots ( not enough) and 5 of each letter J-O-Y. If prefer a better adherence for the letters, you may want to purchase additional glue dots from the local craft store.

First, I want to start with what I like. The boxes are a great size, beautiful, vibrant red color and they are pretty easy to assemble. However, although they are pretty reasonable, I am not pleased with the conditions of the boxes. They look used or like they had been handled roughly. I was a little disappointed but I just put the best looking one at the top and the worst at the bottom.

Not at all as presented. It's a cereal type box with thin plastic sheeting glued to it - the JOY letters aren't even attached.So disappointed. I'd say you get what you pay for, but actually the price on this was steep, so it was a surprise to receive such a poor quality product. These kinds of cheap imports do nothing but devalue the overall amazon experience.
