We flew abroad and did a LOT of driving in rented cars. The cost of renting a car seat for a child is insane -- about $15/day. Yes, it is a sizeable thing to have to lug around airports, etc. (it takes up about 3/4 the space of a carry-on suitcase when folded), but by buying this foldable seat we more than saved the cost of renting a seat, and now have this as a decent extra seat going forward.Also: if you are considering getting an inflatable booster seat instead then note that we also considered that and bought one in comparison; but IMO this product gives way more sense of security to your loved one, so it is worth lugging the extra bulk when travelling.It's a bit pricey at $200, and I wish the seat had built in connectors to the car's anchor points. But being the only foldable proper seat that can go on a plane, I am happy to give 5 stars for being basically the only real option on the market.

Used a smaller roller (carry on size) to stash and still had a little room to fit a couple sweaters/shoes in the bag. Once you figure out how everything folds it’s super quick. This was perfect as I needed to uber to/from the airport and little one was comfortable and love how quick it is to setup and fold down. Worth every penny!

The pros: This booster is compact when folded, relatively light weight, and good for travel. It hooks onto handle bar of a carry on luggage through its strap.The cons: The padding on this seat is non existent, for both butt and head rests, which could be uncomfortable for long trips. The shoulder belt is difficult to route through and kids will not be able to do it themselves. I don't know how this seat will hold up in the long run, especially all the hinges for each folding part. I feel the hinge could snap if accidently miss folded, especially the lower pivot. Lastly, my son is 6 and his shoulders have reach the max limit width setting. Unfortunately, I don't think he will be able to use this for longer than a year.

This car seat is hands down the best for growing kids. This seat will last my child from 4 to 8/9 years old. Def worth the investment and easy to compact for storage when not in use. Adjustable in different places where your child’s growth area’s would need adjusting ( only average seats can’t be adjusted so your replacing seats) . No more 4 car seats , just buy the one and let your child grow with it.

I bought this for my 4 year olds first international flight. As you can see in the photo, it fit nicely under the airline seat. It converts to a seat quickly and installs into the car with ease.It’s a little heavy to walk through the airport with. It would be easier if they improved the shoulder strap which I plan to do myself.My kid really likes using it. They just wish it had a cup holder.

Perfect for travel. I am a car seat tech and was a little skeptical. I wanted something easy to travel with and if I don’t feel good about my guy riding in a backless booster at home why should I be ok with it when traveling so I gave this a try. Super easy to use and install, kept the lap and shoulder belt correctly positioned. Just wish the seat had more cushion to it. If checking this for a flight I highly recommend buying a carrying case/cover for it. Overall great product and would recommend unless planning a long car trip, however if your kids are like mine you stop every two hours anyway.

Great idea but too hard to sit on. We wanted to take it with us on a trip to Europe and loved the idea of it being compact, however the kid complained how stiff the seat is.

We've taken this seat on multiple flights, including internationally, and it folds up perfectly to fit in the overhead bin. Our kid loves the adjustability because we can fit it to his body just about perfectly with all the fine tuning it allows. Also makes us feel extra safe because we know the seatbelt is positioned in exactly the right place for our kid!
