Drinking for Two

Perfect gift! This book has so many creative and tasty mocktails that make skipping alcohol feel fun and easy. It’s a thoughtful option for moms-to-be, but also great for anyone looking for wellness-inspired, alcohol-free drinks. The recipes are simple, refreshing, and make a beautiful gift.

I was not expecting this book to be as informative as it was. It has a great breakdown of nutrition, how-to's, and information regarding pre-conception nutrition, as well as anti-nausea drinks for pregnancy. I have a different mocktail book, and it uses a lot of kombucha in the recipes- this one excludes kombucha because of the alcohol content in it. My husband, who generally isn't on board with health stuff like this, is also very excited to try recipes! Definitely my favorite mocktail recipe book.

Absolutely love this - I got it as a gift and have purchased it twice for moms to be and recommended to my sober friends. Easy and delicious recipes.

My best friend is a huge cocktail lover. She’s pregnant and missing her drinks so this was a fun activity to do in a group of friends that had her feeling like herself and having fun with everyone. Very cute book with a lot of fun ideas. Great to do with a group or to give as a gift for your pregnant friend.

This book provides a unique, health-focused alternative to the typical sugary mocktail, though it may not suit every palate. The book earns credit for prioritizing vitamins and minerals essential for pregnancy, offering recipes that are genuinely functional rather than just flavorful. However, I am giving it four stars because some of the ingredients utilized are simply not typical pantry staples. If you don't already stock specific superfoods or niche health supplements, you may find yourself with a limited selection of recipes you can actually make on a whim. While the drinks are sophisticated and well-researched, the reliance on these less common ingredients makes the collection feel more like a specialized wellness manual than a straightforward recipe book for the casual user.

Out of all the recipe books I own this one serves a very unique purpose. First of all it is very health conscious. That means that it calls for some particular ingredients that might not be common household stock. I don't mind that but it's something to be aware of. The drinks also present incredibly well if the directions are followed exactly. The authors are also hypersensitive to concerns expecting mothers might have about their diets. I appreciated that the authors were also sensitive to father-to-be and gave some ideas on how drink recipes might be adapted for them. The pre-pregnancy part of the book was thoughtful as well and well done. A fun book with wider applicability than just expectant mothers. Some really dazzling mocktail drinks are included that could make for fun presentations for any meal.

Cutest book for a mom to be gift basket

Wow!! This is a must have book for anyone looking for healthy, non-alcoholic drinks made with REAL ingredients. I bought this book on preorder back in August, and I have loved trying out these deliciously fresh mocktails! I have been looking for ways to enjoy a fun, alcohol-free cocktail without the typical artificial ingredients and added sugar. These recipes to not disappoint! I cannot recommend this book more! Not only does it have superb recipes, but great nutrition information from two Registered Dietitians that is science-based. I'll be gifting this book to all my pregnant and non-alcohol drinking friends!!

It did arrive with a dirty looking cover. The marks on it were more like scuff marks from things rubbing against the cover, which I was able to remove most of using a microfiber cloth for glasses, by rubbing it in circular motions. Forgot to take a before photo but there is the after photo.

Ordered this for my bff, was delivered physically damaged to surface.

Great range of juice drinks, smoothies, non alcohol drink, cocktails, would recommend.

I love drinking for two! With my wife pregnant at Christmas we cannot have drinks together, but this book solves that. Every drink we’ve tried is delicious, sippable , and the right level of sweetness. I genuinely look forward to our evening mocktails even though I can drink. This book is essential!

I gave this as a gift and they LOVED it, I looked it over before I gave it to her and there are plenty of options and it tells you if the drink has benefits to it. I would definitely recommend!
