Best of all the low acid coffees I've tried
I have suffered from acid reflux for years and have been on the hunt for a low-acid coffee that has full flavor for over a year. I finally found perfection in this Subtle Earth light roast whole bean coffee. I think at this point I have ordered and used seven or eight different low-acid coffees and this is definitely the best. It has full aroma and flavor and is very rich and satisfying despite being a light roast (which I prefer but which also usually contains more acid than dark roast.) The beans I've been grinding are fresh, aromatic, and sold at a great price for the two pound bag. I highly recommend this coffee to anyone who likes full bodied light roast - and I will definitely be purchasing it again.

Very good coffee. I will definitely buy this again
I only recently (about 5-6 years ago) got into coffee, I grew up drinking tea, lots of tea, and still do. Until then, I used to, very occasionally, drink the usual instant coffee. I did have one experience of drinking Jamaican Blue Mountain, which I loved, but the price....! I wanted to make sure that I knew how to brew a good cup, and I found that I preferred the French press method of brewing.I have been looking for a light roast coffee, so far all I have found in the shops here (I live on a small island in the Caribbean), are medium roast. I also wanted a coffee that was not too acidic, normally you can counter that with milk or cream, but I prefer my coffee black. I read the reviews here and I checked online, and found that this brand, was quite well rated. The bonus' were that it was Non-GMO (very good), organic (also very good) and 100% Arabica beans (really very good). The light roast meant that it would have more caffeine than any of the other roasts.I drink one tumbler (RTIC 40oz) of coffee a day, in the mornings. This helps with any hunger pangs (coffee helps on the keto diet that I'm on), and the 40oz tumbler means that it takes me easily 3-5 hours to drink the whole thing, since I don't like to gulp everything down in a few minutes. I have settled on using 50g for my tumbler, with 1 sugar (and 2 sachets of Stevia).I really like that every time I open the bag I get a strong smell of coffee. With so many other brands, that smell is gone in a couple of days. The coffee is really not acidic, something I am really happy about, and yes it still keeps a smooth taste over the few hours it takes for me to drink it.I am quite surprised how much I like this coffee, and I am working my way to dropping the sugar and Stevia so I can just get the pure taste of the bean.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, especially if they are just getting into coffee.Edit/UpdateStill drinking this coffee. But now that I don't use sugar, just Stevia, it tastes better. I'm getting more of the coffee taste without the sharp sweetness of the sugar.2nd Edit/UpdateIt's September 2020, and another bag is on its way to me. This is the coffee for me. Whether hot or cold (iced coffee), this is the coffee I prefer. (cheesy, but true).

Probably the only light roast I would drink
This is about as light a roast as I would go for, and it's (although higher acid than darker roasts) very low acid for such a "bright" coffee. Doesn't trigger my acid reflux at all. And it definitely has the strong caffeine kick one might hope for from a light roast. My favorite thing about this coffee though is by far the aroma. It is the SWEETEST smelling coffee I've ever smelled. Downright sugary in its aroma. Once brewed, this changes to a strong fruitiness and almost butterscotch or slightly caramel smell. If it sounds like an amazing aroma, that's because it is lol. My whole house smells good when we brew this. The texture and body are perhaps a bit thin. There's definitely some citrus in the flavor. Some bite and brightness to it. But unlike many light roasts I've tried, it also tastes like "coffee." Just... normal coffee, along with those fruity/citrusy notes. And it's mild despite being very flavorful. It doesn't smack me in the face with its flavor profile like some light roasts have. It's present, but not overwhelming, if that makes sense. This might sound like sacrilege to some, but I've started combining some Volcanica brand Tarrazu medium roast beans with this - about 5 to 2 ratio of Tarrazu to this - and it. Is. Abso. Lutely. Delicious. That has sort of become my personal blend, for now. Doesn't hurt my tummy, smells and tastes almost like chocolate and caramel (unsweetened, mind you, of course so not exactly like that, but the hint of them is strongly present,) and just has this amazingly uplifting effect on me somehow transcending just a caffeine kick. There really is something special about these beans. Normally caffeine just wakes me up. But these, especially combined with the Tarrazu, somehow also relax me simultaneously. Figure that one out lol.GREAT coffee. Probably my go-to light roast now.
