BUT GET THAT LARGER SIZE. - Fantastic fleece. Bought the Condor Summit Jacket recently and didn't listen to the reviews about it running small. I traditionally fit XXL. For the Condor Fleece, I paid attention to the reviews and ordered the XXXL. It fit perfectly. The fit of the jacket is much better for my ample girth (fat gut) so it looks better on me than the Summit Jacket does. Great quality and great build. Good zippers. Love the hook and loop on the sleeves. Fit: the XXXL fits me spot on (typically a XXL). Sleeves are almost too long, but not quite. The tapering on the sleeves keeps them from sliding over my hands. The glove extensions (where you can slip your thumbs in to, and cover part of the hand with the jacket) is absolutely great. Coupled with gloves it is dang near impossible to slip cold air in. Neck fits perfectly and there is plenty in terms of range of motion. The girth fit much better than the Summit Jacket does. One of my better fitting jackets. Quality: Condor has undoubtedly upped their game in QC. Fleece is good quality. We will see how it does with pilling. Zippers are YKK which are some of the best in my opinion. Stitching is good or excellent depending on where you are looking. Practical Use: she's a great fleece. The pockets are excellent and a-plenty. It' is warm and the upper part of the jacket is not fleece so it can resist some moisture. This is not a rain jacket, but light rain and snow will not be an issue. Warmth is very good. I've worn it down to 28 degrees (hard/moist cold) outside and it did well. If I was going to stay in that weather for any length of time I would use it as a base-layer and put the Condor Summit jacket over it. I love the extended thumb slots and couple with gloves really well. Overall, I highly recommend it. Heed the warnings about size and I suspect you will love this fleece. Review: Fantastic Jacket - Comfortable, Stylish, and Durable - I recently got this black fleece Condor jacket, and I’m thrilled with it. The fit is spot-on – it’s comfortable without being too loose, and the cut gives it a great look. The construction feels high-quality, from the fabric to the stitching. The fleece is warm and soft, perfect for cooler weather, and the black color looks sleek and versatile. Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality and design of this jacket.

OK, but there are other options.
I am 6' and around 220lbs and the jacket fits. The sleeves and body could be longer, but with the sleeve extensions it is fine. I will not be able to wear the jacket with my thumbs through the sleeve holes. Good, useful pockets and the zippers move smoothly. The material is not as soft as a US ECWCS clothing, but is OK. The jacket is in my mind a little over priced, but that is epected from the new taxes the current administration is placing on consumers. Shipping was quicker than expected considering that it was shipped from overseas. Packing was nice and efficient - tightly wrapped in a strong plastic bag. I am sending the jacket back. Not quite what I was expecting.

The fleece is awesome not to repeat all of the pros and cons ...
Hello potential Condor Alpha Micro Fleece Jacket purchasers. I purchased this fleece to wear as a inner layer while performing my duties in Law Enforcement. I had also purchased the Condor Summit Shell eariler this year for casual wear. I had looked at purchasing a fleece during that time but did not want the same style fleece as the Condor Summit at that time. Nevertheless, after buying several other fleece jackets not to mention by name, I was dissatisfied with the quality and or comfort. I continued my search looking for even more high-end fleece. I am 6'1 1/2" tall approximately 280lbs. I decided to reconsider purchasing the Condor Alpha fleece No:601 after searching and could not find those I felt may fit properly after my two failed attempts. Again, it's late in the season and hard to find XXXL in that size or the color Black no matter the price. With a few cold days left in the season, I decided to reconsider the Condor fleece I had past up earlier. Let me begin by saying that I should have purchased it first and would not have experienced my continuous let downs until now. The fleece is awesome not to repeat all of the pros and cons mentioned from reviews read during my research. The one thing I experienced with this jacket that forced me to make alterations was the sleeves. The lenght of the sleeves are fine with the extensions in or out, in fact I really like the concept. The only problem I had with that was that the extension is too stiff and hard to fold back under the sleeve when not in use. They have a tendency to push out when pushing your arm and hand through when putting on the jacket. In my case, the sleeves were long enough without the extensions so I cut them off. Yes, you heard correct, I cut them off. The extension portion also interfered with the wearing of my watches which needs to be considered. I also removed the Velcro pads from the sleeves as I have no intention of ever using them for any reason. With that being said this jacket is exactly what I was looking for. The price was right for this jacket that I would have paid double the price now that I'm fully aware of what I've received. I hope I was helpful. Thanks for listening. Since my original post regarding my very first purchase of a Black jacket, I have since taken both jackets to the cleaners where a had the sleeves professionally tailored. These jacket are the best bar none.

High Quality. Unbeatable Price. Great fit. Great Features
Excellent to outstanding outer fleece. I’m 5’10” (used to be 5’11.5” thank you Marine Corps) and about 180 lbs. I’ve worn a lot of kit in 30 yrs with USMC in almost every conflict we have been privileged to be a part of since 1990. This is an outstanding piece of equipment especially if paired with Condor’s grid fleece. This is not a FROG garment, be advised. Price point, quality, functionality, and features are best in class. I wear a large T-shirt but have a larger chest than normal so have trouble finding things I can wear especially with under layers. This jacket fits fine as a large with room for layers underneath. If you are new to tactical clothing, don’t size yourself on the new “skinny fit scale” that seems to be the norm today for folks who don’t darken the gym door. Think: “what fit do I need to move, shoot (yes, get into some dynamic poses), and layer”. This jacket fits the mission profile. Good features. Extendable sleeves handy when you pile on layers. One drawback: made in China. Love Condor. Love their guys (talked at length at the 2020 SHOT Show.). Must figure out how to make your superior designs in, at least, Vietnam (used to do negotiations with the Vietnamese Joint Staff 2010 to 2011...good folks). I will seek out other Condor products in the future as they are combat oriented whereas 5.11 (love them) tend to be my go to for concealed carry...they are somewhat “contractor” and law enforcement oriented in my assessment but make good products. Condor is not Crye Precision (clothing) class but make a good, sturdy product you can train in with confidence, at least in this great jacket.

Nice but sleeves were shorter than expected. Jacket came with hole in pocket
Upon first trying to jacket on, I was impressed. It was very comfortable and seemed as if it would keep me warm on a moderately cold day. The jacket was VERY easy to move in and did not hinder my movements in any way. SIZE: I wear a Size 42R in suite jackets, and thus brought a Medium as per all my other jackets, hoodies, and sweaters. I tried the jacket on with only a regular t-shirt. The regular sleeve of the jacket was too short. With my arms straight down, one could clearly and easily see my watch and about an inch or so of my skin above it. It was obviously too short. When I extended the cuff liner, it extended the sleeve to the size I expected the actual jacket to be. At first this was great, until I noticed the thumb-holes at the end of the sleeve. I quickly realized that the jacket itself was too short in the event I actually attempted to use the thumb-holes in the manner which they were designed for. Not a big deal as I had little to no intention of using the thumb-holes. DESIGN: The zippers are GREAT! They don't move unless you want them to move. Zip the jacket all the way and then attempt to pull the collar apart and the zipper stays very firmly. The same goes with the other pocket zippers along the shirt. Also the jacket zipper itself allows for easy access to your conceal carry as the jacket has 2 zippers. This does make connecting the zipper a bit annoying, but ultimately a well needed "annoyance". The shoulder pocket was large enough to squeeze in a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Otterbox case. Once in, there wasn't a lot of play and one could easily forget a phone was even there. The breast pocket can 2 phones and a fairly thick wallet with no problem. The two side pockets were low profile just like the other pockets and they were also comfortably warm. There is also one single interior pocket within the jacket. It's quite large, but bulky. I've heard others mention putting their conceal carry there. In my opinion, it's far too bulky. The item would bounce and rotate around and can be very annoying to the carrier. Notebooks and simple things, would be find, but something bulky or with a bit of weight would very likely be very uncomfortable and annoying and I can see some problems in the event you need to quickly access it. I'd much rather a more traditional shoulder holster, rather than to utilize the interior pocket to hold my weapon. Draw strings run along the bottom of the jacket with elastic cord and clips to hold the desired size. They both work great and hold strong as well as release easy when desired. WARMTH: Though the jacket feels great, I doubt it would keep me comfortably warm in elements such as snow, especially during strenuous activity. Walking through snow is about as far as I'd push this thing. Also the jacket is mostly fleece. Meaning it wouldn't repel water well. While I wouldn't mind wearing this in a very light rain or mist, I wouldn't want to be wearing this jacket in anything more. It does no wick water away well. The shoulders, neck, and back side of the lower arm are the only areas capable of wicking water. These areas are also a bit shinier. PROBLEM: I did run into a bit problem with my jacket. The right pocket was not fully sewn thus leading to items falling straight out the pocket. The hole was large enough to easily slip 4 fingers into. That said, I'm was forced to return this jacket for a replacement.

Excellent for the Price
I bought this just as something to wear for outdoor activities that I really didn't care what happened to. After getting it (on time), I really began liking it and actually wear it all the time. The seems and stitching are all very well done, the two-way zipper is nice and robust enough to handle some abuse. I love the pockets, which there are plenty of, especially the one on the sleeve that you can get to if you're wearing a vest or body armor. The fleece is actually really nice and much better than I expected from Condor, no piling or fuzz balls. Honestly I was really reluctant to buy anything from Condor, but of all things, a review by Nutnfancy on Youtube sold me on giving it a try and I'm very glad I did. If you want an in-depth video review: [...] it's about 14 minutes long and worth the watch if you're ify on considering this jacket. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone short of deploying soldiers. There are two things to keep in mind about this jacket: 1. It runs a size small, easily. I'm 6'4" and 250 pounds and I usually wear a 2X at most, mostly because the arms are never long enough. I bought a 3X and it fits perfectly. 2. The fleece, as nice as it is, does not contain any sort of windproof membrane. This should be expected as you will not find a fleece jacket with one for $50. I actually find this kind of nice because it lets it breathe pretty easy (there are no 'pit-zips') and it doesn't get too hot. Oh, in the description there is the option for a Tan and a Coyote Brown...this is misleading, there is no Tan. Both options are actually Coyote Brown. Other than that, this is a great jacket and easily worth $50. I am actually going to buy one for my son and prolly another one for me to keep in my vehicle.

Excellent Light to mid-weight jacket with functionality
I work in a flight-line (like an airport) environment in Washington state where its seldom warm or dry enough to go without some kind of outer clothing. I was searching for something better than a sweatshirt, but less than a winter jacket, something that had pockets, would keep me dry and warm but not be bulky. The Condor Micro Fleece fits that task with a 5-Star rating. It has on the left chest a zippered pocket that is durably designed. All of the zippers on this jacket are what I consider military grade- that is they aren't cheap. The left arm sleeve also has a zippered pocket- perfect for carrying a smart phone and employee ID badge. There are two waist level pockets- these are slip-u'r-hands-in out of the cold pockets. On the inside left is a 15 inch deep pocket. That's right....15 inches deep. It has about a 5.5inch mouth opening that is diagonal, but goes all the way down to the bottom of the jacket and feels as sturdy as the rest of the jacket. On the right inside is a 10 inch pocket that has a 6 inch mouth that is straight. On the left and right sleeve is a Velcro patch for insignia that measures 3.25" wide by 4" long. I wear a USA flag on the left, and a USMC eagle, globe and anchor on the right side. The elbows and forearm are protected by double-layered material. The cuffs are unique to me. They can be folded inside the jacket, or pulled out to go over gloves. And they have thumb hole to keep the cuff warmly around your hands.I am told that this is standard on most high-end winter coats. The idea is great. When you don't need the extra length, just a few seconds and you can tuck them back inside the arms of the coat. Brilliant. I've worn this in some heavy wind and rain. My legs and head got wet. This jacket does not absorb rain. It tends to bead up and fall off. It is not wind-proof though. I would say it is breeze-proof. Winds of 35mph cut through it. Winds around 10mph aren't a problem. I will be reviewing another jacket later on that takes care of the wind. This is a great option if you have to be exposed to inclimate weather for short periods. The functionality, and warmth give it 5 Stars. People ask me where I got it from a lot. It is just a nice jacket all around.
