Stainless Steel Dental Scalers for Animals
These are of decent quality upon inspection and value by cost ($6). My CAUTION to all that attempt to scale their animals' teeth of plaque, as a former veterinary tech, Do Not Use the Pick! It is too sharp unless you really know what you are doing. Even with the scaler you can cut the gums and make them bleed. But the pick can really do some damage. The scaler is sharp enough and should be the ONLY tool of this pack you should use. AND...always sterilize before and after use! (wipe down with rubbing alcohol) These are stainless steel not "surgical steel."

Throw Out The Dental Bones / Supplements / Additives / Teeth Cleaning Toys
I have a 10 pound Havanese/Toy Poodle. He eats top quality dry kibble, but also has a seat (literally) at the dinner table and gets bites of every human food we eat. His teeth are terrible at 6 years old. Brushing with enzymatic tooth paste every night does zero to improve the plaque built up, and recently his gums have started to bleed a little. So we had a choice. Take him to the vet during coronavirus madness, put him under anesthesia, and pay $600 for a professional cleaning - or - try this tool kit. You’ll know by my 5-star review which route we took.WOW! In three nightly sessions lasting about 2 minutes each, two teeth are completely restored to their puppy pearly white goodness. The little guy was not at all bothered by my very careful and very gentle scraping using the scraper only, not the hook. He trusts me and I praised him (and myself) greatly while I worked. Gave him a dental bone (which does nothing to clean plaque by the way, merely a reward) after tonight’s session. I am thrilled to finish the job over the next few nights. I’m thrilled he won’t need unnecessary anesthesia. I’m thrilled to save $600! I could imagine myself paying the dog dentist bill every couple years if I hadn’t taken a shot at do-it-yourself, so this has essentially saved me thousands.A few tips. Clean the tool with alcohol and wash your hands thoroughly first. Go very slow and very carefully, you can cut your dog or poke them in the eye if they jerk. Praise them and keep the sessions very short. You need a steady hand, good eyesight, and a patient dog to pull this off. Good luck.

stick it!
I like that it’s easy to use. This will save you a $450 teeth cleaning at the vet. Here’s my story: I purchased a 2 year old Yorkie from another state. Had her shipped and she did very well in her exam. One thing you need to know about my vet is she doesn’t hold back, she will not impose her beliefs on me and she doesn’t give a f*** who gets their feelings hurts. She is blunt and will tell it how it is. So she said I needed to get my dogs teeth cleaned and buy heart worm especially since I’m going to be breeding her. It sounded much harsh because everyone in the office waiting heard and she was telling the secretary not knowing I was there. She said it about 3-4 times. Lol you could imagine my surprise. The receptionist then tried to explain everything she said and I told her I heard you don’t have to tell me anything. Give me an appointment and I’ll be out my way. She gave me he appointment for 3 weeks. I went on Amazon, purchased a toothbrush, a toothpaste, water additive and these instruments. With the help of my hubby I cleaned out her entire mouth from tartas from top to bottom in about an hour. Yesterday, I went to the vet for the teeth checkup/cleaning and to the vets surprise she had not a single tartar or cavity in her teeth. I left feeling like a boss. I do warn you, don’t use the pick. There’s no need just use the scraper like you’re trying to scratch your back in motion and you’ll get all the tartar out of your dogs teeth. I would have uploaded photos but I did not think it would be a significant change. But there was. Her teeth are extremely white. I brush her teeth twice a day now and provide chewable treats and toys specific to combat tartar and bad breath.

Worked as well as a trip to the vet
I purchased this for the family dog , who was in great shape except the vet said there was a build up of tartar on the teeth. The vet indicated it would cost several hundred dollars for the procedure or we could just try a dog dental care kit like this one.My family member who used it on our dog said that after the first time using this , 99% of the tartar was gone. and He had only used the device for about 5 minutes. It would definitely be a personalized experience (depending on the condition of other dogs' teeth) , but my family member would recommend at least trying this product (before they spend hundreds of dollars at a vet or groomer).

Try it. It’s worth it.
Got these couple days ago. Did the Cleaning on my six years dog teeth. I don’t need to say how good this is. Just take a look at the before and after pictures.

Very nice
I didn’t know such invention existed but I’m glad i came across it. This works wonders, I need to somehow knock her out cold so I can do this in peace. Right now we are currently playing cat and mouse chase around the house where she let me use this tool to scrape tarter off her teeth for 30 seconds then she takes off. I find her and force her down to do it for ten seconds then she takes off. Repeat for 30 mins.My dog has trust issues after but she’ll get over it. This does not replace dental cleaning but it will help stretch out cleanings if you keep up with the scraping

Great dental tools for my dogs
I was so impressed with the two tools we received. Sturdy and yes, easy to use. I immediately and easily was able to remove the tartar that was forming on my two year old pups. I just experience spending $450 to vet for dental cleaning and tooth extraction (not prepared for that). I feel that If I had caught it early and had these tools, it would not have come to her loosing her eight front teeth :(... You have to be steady and planted so as not to accidentally hurt the gum as you are going towards the gum line...I am very happy I have this and will buy again if needed...Highly recommended.

Perfect
Absolutely love this! My 2yo mutt had some tarter buildup, and after just a few minutes, my pups teeth are back to being white! CAUTION: these tools are very sharp and you can easily slip and slice your dog’s gum; just be careful, especially with a squirmy pup! I was amazed at how easily scraping tarter was with this kit. Definitely would buy again
