No AC in my vehicle
I’m glad I bought this. I just suctioned it to the glass on my drivers window (it’s a 2002 bus, so there is room). It works very well. I have bumped into the blade about 20 times. Because I’m a klutz. It’s not a big deal. It surprises me when it happens but it’s seriously a non-issue. It’s like getting hit by a rubber band at worst, not really painful as much as surprising, if you get my meaning. So I was thinking about getting the one with the cage on the blades but this one moved more air. I’m glad I went with this one, as it’s not a big deal whacking myself once in a while to get that increased air flow. It’s not super loud, which doesn’t matter anyhow when you drive a big noisy diesel anyhow. It’s a bit speedy, but I already had one caftans fan installed when I bought the bus, and both are better quality than truck stop 12v garbage. I believe the product will outlast other cheaper items so I’m happy with the quality for the price.

Great boat fan
For such low power draw , ths fan moves noticeably more air in comparison to any fan with mesh/cowling protecting blades. Also much quieter. This is the third of these I have bought for my boat replacing the other fans i used. Dollars spent, this is one of the best pieces of kit for warmer climates. Doesn't hurt on occasion when I do accidentally tap the blades. 2 speeds. Easy to mount fixed bracket with a couple of screws. Highly recommend. Small note- it does need a little clearance behind to allow air to circulate, when I mounted in ceiling corner air draw was poor, when I moved it forwards 6inches massive improvement.

Powerful and durable
We have 5 of these fans on our boat. We started with 2 and added 3 more over time. We direct-wired 2 of them to ceiling mount them into the salon. We use the suction cup in one cabin on top of a closet. It stays well enough as long as nobody bumps it. For the other 2, we use a clip attachment (sold separately). This allows us to move them around and clip them to doorframes, rails, etc. These are very low-power, with 5 of them running about 2 amps per hour on direct DC power from the batteries. This is important when you're anchoring or dry-docking and running off batteries. To keep cooler in the summer, you have to move air. These move a good amount of air, and we're able to drive the cool air from the bow hatch and through to the back of the boat. These are not cheap. You can just get some USB fans. But they won't be as powerful as these. However, we've had 2 of these since 2021 (5 summers) and we run them almost nonstop for 30-60 days a year. They've held up and they're worth the money. Because there's no cage around them, they're really easy to clean. However, we do occasionally bump the blades if we bump them. It hurts a little, but doesn't bruise or cut you. The motor stops and doesn't burn out. The inconvenience is a trade-off, but we consider it a penalty for not paying attention and it's still worth having these moving the air. These are noisy, but we kind of like it. It drowns out other noises outside the boat. And again, to get fans this powerful, it's worth it.

Great Little Fan
Purchased one of these to use in our lightweight travel trailer. We were specifically looking for a compact, lightweight fan with a low power draw to better preserve our rv battery. Took it on a 3000 mile roadtrip, used regularly, and love it. The fan is sturdy and made well. It sips electricity on the low setting - much more efficient than the MaxxFan mounted on our roof. High setting actually dried clothes hanging in the camper overnight. The suction cup works surprisingly well, and the optional clip provides a solid grip. The "finger saving" stop on the fan works pretty well too, although it is a shock if/when someone makes contact with a blade. I wish the fan just had a grill (like, why not?). But overall, this has been a great add to our travel trailer.

Yes, they really are as good as everyone says. Get this plug version if you want to move it around
Yes, they really are that good, and I say that as someone who has like 9 Vornados and one Dreo (not as good as Vornados, but decent) at home. These are on par with my 120v Vornados at home, which has never been true of any 12v fan I've owned. This is the highest CFM version, if you look at the specs, and no cage means less stuff to rattle and hum. It also means you will whack into it but despite the high speed the blades stop easily and it doesn't hurt. Much. Besides, with a cage that same whack or fall might have broke the fan. These suckers have fallen several feet in rough seas and been totally fine, and you can buy replacement blades. Less than 1/3 the battery draw of the fans I replaced and still move a ton of air, again, more than any 12v fan I've owned, which is pretty much every similar one except for Hella (for the money these Caframos have far better specs). One of these fans on low pointed at me is enough for a good night's sleep on my 28 foot boat if it's less than 80F out, and I am very much a hot sleeper. I initially planned for a permanent install, but this version was cheaper at the time, and I thought I would just cut the plug off, but it's actually been handy being able to use the suction cup and move the two I bought around the boat (they do include both the permanent and suction cup mounts). I will likely buy two more so I can have one roaming pair and two in fixed locations. Or maybe 4 roamers... 🤔 If you buy this version, you've got options!

Nice Fan, good size and strong breeze
This little fan puts out a good amount of air, we have used it on the boat in both the DC outlet at the Helm, and by using a DC to AC converter which allows for regular outlet plugin. Even with the converter it works great, and our guests that need a bit more airflow on calm days have been happy or the below deck areas that don't have a DC plugin I can use the fan without issues. It really moves a decent amount of air for how small it is and although touching the blades when spinning gives you a "jolt" its more of a surprise than hurting at all.(which has been a fun joke on the boat, me telling people to be careful or it'll "bite" you..)

Quality fan
I bought this for camping in our van, since it can get warm in there at times. I had an old 12V clip-on fan, but it had only one speed, which was too strong and made too much noise. This fan has two speeds, and both are quiet. I ended up buying the optional clip-on mounting bracket, instead of using the included suction cup or permanent mount. I think this will work well on camping trips this summer, and is smaller and quieter than my old one.

Fan Stinks like PVC or Plastic
The fan works fantastic. Low amp draw and lots of airflow. The plastic smell was terrible even after leaving it outside for several days to off-gas. I emailed the company and they couldn't tell me if the plastic was BPA free or even what plastics were used in the construction other than ABS for the fan housing. I had to return it and will figure out another non-toxic solution.
