Great dinner party game.
We played this with friends on NYE and it kept us all laughing all night with the additional character traits it gives.

Bought it for a teenager dinner party - lots of fun
I got this for my eldest child's mates. They took over the dining room, the living room & anywhere else she hid clues. They didn't complete it because they had so much fun & hysterics with the role play (first time doing a murder mystery!). It's not my first rodeo, though, & this is definitely a lovely kit. Well organised, easy to follow, nicely presented, good quality. Love it!

Disappointing
Disappointed the label is stuck directly on the box and I am unable to give it as a gift now

Product seems fine but packaging delivery was very disappointing
This was not a cheap item and was intended as a potential present for someone. The contents seem satisfactory and clear as well as comprehensive. However what was very disappointing was that it was dispatched with no protective wrapping (e.g. waterproof bag, box) with the labels stuck firmly on the actual display box and immovable meaning that we cannot present it to anyone else and the item looks untidy.Given the price and supposed quality of the contents, packaging for delivery needs to be rethought. It was mean and has spoilt the item and stopped it from being a potential gift.

Really enjoyed this game, well thought out and fun!
I got this for my mum for Christmas and we played it that night. There were only 5 of us but it still worked really well (just make sure you read out all the clue cards if there are fewer players than cards). We also found a 1930s music playlist which really added to the atmosphere! The story was a bit complicated but just enough to make it interesting without making solving the murder impossible, and there are three possible endings so you can use it more than once.I'd really recommend this game, whether you just want to play it as a family night in or go all out with invitations and dressing up!

Had duplicates of things and was missing things
When playing game we noticed we had two train timetables and when reading the answers we noticed that our box was missing evidence

Pointless, the host knows who the murderer is
The host has to include 3 set characters in the game set up meaning they know who the murderer is between 3 people, this is so stupid.
