This product had limited reviews, but I decided to roll the dice. After a wasted Saturday, I'm regretting this decision.I wanted to complete a robotics project after having dabbled in other electronic projects using raspberry pi and python. I already have a couple pi's around the house, and have a basic knowledge of pi (which helped). However, the setup of the pi portion of this device went smoothly and wasn't an issue. Additionally, the manual itself was fairly clear, but obviously not written by a native English speaker and a bit outdated in the pi arena.The problem with this product is the servos (and the components that come with the servos) do not fit perfectly into the acrylic parts fabricated by Adeept, and there is NO room for error in the design of this product. I first noticed the imperfect fit as I began installing the first servo into the hand portion of the arm. The tiny (1-2 mm or less) imperfections were noticeable to me in several of the steps required to attach the servo, and these imperfections built one upon another until the entire project became unusable.As I noticed each small imperfection, I tried tinkering a bit (as the instructions do leave something to be desired), but no amount of tinkering would get the pieces to fit snugly enough to work. I even tried installing multiple servos and their respective components as the project comes with 6 servos (4 of one kind and 2 of another). I had the same problem with each servo and its components, which leads me to believe this product was not designed for the servos I received. Other Amazon customers have successfully built this arm, so I don't believe the entire product is flawed.Overall, I recommend looking at other products if you desire a raspberry pi robotics project.

Instructions online werent that clear. Overall a good kit just needs a few modifications.

Bought this kit for my sons birthday, he assembled this kit in no time. Excellent kit with lots of expansion options. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested in robotics. I would suggest that some knowledge of raspberry pi and python is required.

This is a great product and would recommend to anyone starting engineering or coding

Instructions are sub par. Programming is a nightmare and function is below average. Don't waste your money on the gimmick.
