I've purchased 6 bags of these over the past month for rock painting and they are amazing. After being let down by 2 previous purchases from another seller, not a single rock in these 6 bags has been unusable. All rocks are over the minimum 2 inches with most of them ranging 2.5 to 3 inches. There has also been at least 1 rock in each bag that has been 3.5 to 4 inches. All 6 of the bags contained 22 rocks in them. There have been a few rocks with chips in them, but by few I mean maybe 1 per bag if that. Some are not super flat like the photos but all have been smooth and great to paint on. They don't have any waxy polished coating on them. They do need a quick rinse and wash to get the rock dust off (you can see it coating the bag in the photos). The different shapes, sizes and colors keep the painting unique and I will definitely buy more once these new bags run low.

I wanted some stones to place on graves that I will be visiting (commonly referred to as "visitation stones"). These were perfect, not too big, not too small, and they look nice and smooth. If you're also looking for visitation stones, go ahead and buy these.

These Rocks Are very pretty rocks. And so useful for many projects I used them in my bird bath to give them a place to perch. Love them.

Use these in my axolotl tank and they really look great.

Bought these for my aquarium to give my loaches a rockpile to play on/in. Some of the rocks have splotchy colors but they're all smooth and rounded. Perfect for what I needed them for but not sure how they'd work for painting.

The rocks were great for rockpainting. My only complaint is how they arrived. They came in a plastic bag and it was torn, I imagine from the weight of the rocks. I don't think I actually got them all, but I got enough for the project I was doing. Oh well.

These are absolutely perfect for rock painting......and there are a few I’m not going to basecoat, but work with the rocks’ details. I won’t loot and pillage rivers here, and with COVID restrictions, unable to find landscaping companies open for picking a bucketful, this is a good value. I will order again!
