I've been looking for mats like these for the kitchen for years, we had these old black ones but they had been THROUGH it, I would check home goods, tj maxx, ross, marshalls, macy's, could never find just a plain black mat, this is exactly what I was looking for and I don't know why I didn't check amazon sooner.

These are a great size for the entrance to the house and wash up well in the washer and dryer. The only problem is the ends are unraveling after washing. I really like the rubber backing. The rugs don’t slide around on my bamboo floors. If my Yorkies pee on them it washes right out. No staining. Very good value.

Nice rug but it does slide around a little bit. Not as much as a rug without the non slip backing but it still can move.

I needed two of these for my open concept kitchen with a two counters each measuring 7 feet long, and joining at a right angle. I chose red because that is the accent colour for that part of the home.The rugs were made in Egypt, not China. The colour is vibrant, the non-slip backing very effective, and the quality is beyond my expectation.The rugs are just thick enough to feel comfortable under my feet, but not too thick to make them look cheap or clunky. In an open concept kitchen these rugs help visually segregate this part of the home from the others.

I needed a dark brown runner at my entrance which tracks in a lot of debris during the winter.The entrance door doesn't have a lot of clearance so the rug had to be as low as I could find. This was a match. It vacuums nicely but takes a bit of effort to get rid of salt stains. Since it is a thin, low pile carpet I used a bit of double-sided tape at one end to ensure it didn't lift when coming/going through the door.

We bought this rug for inside our patio door. It traps any grass that gets stuck to our shoes from the lawn to keep it from being tracked into the rest of the house. Then we simply vacuum the rug and the mess is gone.The size is very convenient as well. It's long enough to keep our shoes on it without impeding the doorway, and narrow enough not to take up too much space.We've had this on our floor for over 2 months and after vacuuming it still looks as new as the day it arrived.
