With changes in the 2021building code requirements changes, old fashioned simple ceiling pull chain sockets for bare bulbs are not compliant. A shade or wire cage need to be installed to prevent direct contact with objects high up on shelves. I don't like the look cheap plastic bulb cages one bit. I highly recommend this pretty cage. Maybe it's too pretty to be hidden in a reach-in 1960 closet. Lol

This was very easy to install and adjust. It's also larger than I expected which is good because I don't have to worry about the size of the bulb- I know it will fit. It also feels strong and sturdy.

The attachment point is kind of funny and it isn't very sturdy but if you're not knocking your lamps around this looks absolutely great as a steampunk add-on to filament bulbs in any kind of old rustic fixture

The base was small to fit over the current lightbulb holders base (technical term???) but my dad was able to stretch them over. We did need to buy different screws to secure them however as the ones it came with were too short. Once installed I’ve had no issues. The quality is great and they look exactly like I hoped.

I’m in the process of turning my utility and laundry room into a walk in closet and these really helped dress up the space. I love the look with the concrete walls and exposed beams versus naked lightbulbs. Installation took less than 30 seconds and I am really happy with the overall function and style.

Excellent lamp cage for the bulbs on my industrial lamp. Attractive and durable. Neck clamp was a little too big to fit directly on the bulb socket; had to attach to pipe fitting but works well. Many compliments.

These are beautiful and sturdy. I was so excited when I saw these were installed on ceiling fans to provide a little revamping. Which is why I ordered.Sadly, these did not fit on ANY of my ceiling fan lights when I removed the bulb shade. The awkward placing of the screws on this cover are just too wide and protrude beyond the housing. Even tightening/ loosening didn’t help.Removing the screws to maybe place the shade over the housing didn’t work either. There is very very little give with both screws removed.I wish I had a direct way to reach out to those that were able to install these on their ceiling fans that left reviews. But sadly, I must return.Beautiful fixtures, just need to be more universal.

I needed a metal bulb cage for my small utility room which is lit by a single bulb. And I had bumped my head on the bulb a number of times. You'll find fancier and more expensive ones, but this bulb cage is perfect: sturdy, installs in less than a minute, and it doesn't matter if I bump my head on it.

We purchased pendants that were to have Edison bulbs hanging straight down. I was concerned the bulbs could very easily get broken so I added these covers and I think it really looks great in my kitchen.
