Dorman722-005 Rear Spring Rearward Leaf Spring Hanger Compatible with Select Ford Models

Seems just as quality as the stock unit. Getting the old one off the truck (1995 F-250) was a bit time consuming since the bracket is riveted on at the factory. However it was very easy to install this with the bolts after the old one was removed. I had the bed off for another reason (which is why I noticed the old rusty bracket) but I suppose you could replace this bracket with the bed still on, it would just be a little more difficult (although the bed comes off with six bolts so its not that hard to take off).

Perfect fit for my F350. Just some suggestions I have. Get 4 1/2" x 1" long grade 8 bolts to replace the ones in the kit. They seem a little small. You may want to have a replacement spring bolt ready as well. It is likely worn out. Also, the original spring hanger is riveted in, so you will need to grind or torch the old one off.

They fit my 97 F250 Heavy Duty super cab long bed diesel 4x4, 8800 lbs gvwr. Fitment Chart says these won't but they do. Bolts could be better but they work. Depending on chassis/cab/axle/spring combo your Ford has there are at least 5 different hangers.

Replaces factory leaf spring hanger at a cheaper price than at local auto parts stores. Works just fine for what it's intended purpose is. NOTE: Check the clearance of the bolts/frame during install... I experienced a creaking noise that dumbfounded myself to the point where I took it to a mechanic and they said that I must have installed something wrong that it must have twisted up somehow... They claimed they fixed the issue but shortly after driving for a while the noise came back... Turned out to be the bolts were rubbing against the frame causing the creaking... Just took my dremel to the bolt ends carefully and trimmed a very short length of them off and haven't heard a single creak since.

I have a 96 Ford F-150 4x4 and This was the right part to replace my rotted out bracket. If you can get the bolt out of the leaf spring then Replacing these will be a breeze. I hope this helped. The shackle here I was sold Doorman 722-001 was wrong and too small. I returned it with no prblems in the 30 day period. Good luck. BTW: these are Made in China.

Good quality. I reamed to 7/16 holes to bolt to frame and used grade 8 fine thread. The bolts that come with brakets are too small diameter to fit the holes tight. It maybe would not have been an issue but for another $5 I did not want to take chance.

The brackets are decent, you'll want to paint them if you want them to last.the bolts say 10.9 on them, but there is no chance. broke while tightening with a 1/2" ratchet. that just doesn't happen with 10.9 bolts.
