I bought this bike because it's so cute, but know that the metal that the bike is made out of is very heavy. I bought it for a 4 year old and she struggles to turn the pedals because of the sheer weight of the bike. I don't believe that she will ever be able to ride it without training wheels because it is so heavy and hard to handle. The handle bars are also in a lower than usual position, even when adjusted to maximum height. I would have been better off buying a bike at Target or Walmart where the bikes are light weight and easier for a child to manage.

My daughter loves this bike!! Easy to assemble and has a little weight to it so I’m expecting it to last. We ride all the time and it’s a great first bike for a 5 year old!
