I've been sugar free for years, and this is by far the best cake mix/frosting option(when you can, get the frosting). I've done lower sugar, sugar free, things with "healthy sugar replacers". This doesn't make your stomach hurt from sugar replacer, and it tastes and feels amazing texture wise.It's easy to make and bake and the carbs don't seem to mess with my system so if you're watching out with that(I'm insulin resistant + Epileptic so my body is so sensitive to carbs,sugar anything that would "cause a spike" and this doesn't.I don't even have to moderate this, like everything else♡What's not to love?

I purchased this sugar free cake mix and frosting when I began a low sugar diet.I know diets don't work, it's the lifestyle change to better eating that works.I know I would crave chocolate cake, so I ordered this sugar free one to try out for my lifestyle change.It worked!I don't taste the difference!It quenched my craving in a healthier way.I stored the remaining cake in the freezer for future cravings.The only negative, as with all sugar substitutes, if you eat too much it may cause urgency to use the bathroom.I would buy this again. It's great to sit back with a slice and thoroughly enjoy the delicious taste of chocolate cake, without all the sugar.

My sister was recently diagnosed with adult-onset diabetes, and I decided to make this cake for a family get-together so she could have some guilt-free dessert. I made the cake as per the directions, split the two layers into halves (to turn it into a 4-layer cake), filled the layers with whipped cream, and covered it all with the sugar-free frosting - harkening back to the cake she would most often ask for her childhood birthdays. This cake tasted just like we remembered!However, the price on Amazon is significantly higher than I have recently seen in the grocery stores. So, if you are looking for a good-tasting sugar-free cake mix and/or frosting, I'd recommend the Pillsbury brand, but also recommend you look at your local grocery stores to see if you can save some serious coin compared to the price it's available for here.
